Body Mechanics Massage Therapy

I wish I could give zero star. I am an icbc patient and I used to see Carla Doyle. After seeing me for some months she wasn’t interested to see me anymore. First she said I’m improving as I’m seeing a kinesiologist. Then I mentioned her that I still need to take RMT side by kinesiology. But she wasn’t interested to see me anymore. After that, the day of assessment which was just one week later, she said I wasn’t improving at all that’s why icbc will not approve any more sessions and there’s no point of taking any more RMT sessions.She sent icbc a treatment plan saying that-Up to today, no functional improvements have been made. That she has not observed any change in pain or functional concern since starting treatment(Even though she said the week before I have improved quite significantly). That means she is saying icbc not to give any more sessions. And then she called me and said icbc didn’t approve any more sessions as I’m not improving at all but if I want to take any more RMT I can pay for the sessions and see her!First she said my condition is improving. But as I said i still need to see her and also my kinesiologist wants me to get RMT for better improvement. Then she said no improvement at all so that icbc doesn’t approve any more sessions and she doesn’t have to see me through icbc. All because of her false assessment. Of course my condition was improving than before and my flexibility was getting better than before. Which she knew and even told me one week before the assessment.But she has no problem to see me if I pay. I have been to many RMTs before but never experienced such horrible experience. If you are icbc patient don’t go to Carla. Because they are not interested to see you for long if you are icbc patient and even if you need treatment.

I have always had nothing but an excellent experience at Body Mechanics! The business is clean and professionally run. All staff are friendly and polite. Appointment always start and end on time which is very important to me. I am a triathlete and as a result have a wide range of aches and pains. Between Jon and Kelly they always help me before and after races. I always recommend Body Mechanics to friends and fellow athletes.

Highly recommended.The few therapists (Marcus, Hyugo, and David) my husband and I have been seeing for over half a year are highly skilled and very professional. Special callout to Marcus as he's the one who's been treated my backpain the most. He manages the pressure really well ranges from light to deep. If you like the stronger pressure/firm type of treatment, you'll definitely benefit from Marcu's session. He's also very good at finding trigger points that I didn't even know existed. Overall, I've benefited greatly from his treatment.

Carla Doyle cancelled my appointment just 30 minutes before the appointment time. That is very unprofessional and inconsiderate of other people's time.

Updating my review as I had given 1 star before due to two back to back cancellations by them. The previous RMT and previous receptionist had no care about the cancellations and didn't even offer to rebook for another closer date.There is now a new owner (RMT herself) and a new receptionist (Raman). Thought I would call and give them a try again as they are so close, after I had stopped going to them. Firstly, Raman was very pleasant to speak to over the phone. She put me on a cancellation list for as well. She then called me the very next morning to book an appointment for the following day! I had a massage done by Voula (the new owner). Left their clinic relaxed and the final transaction was also easy. Raman already had me tentatively booked for the next appointment. Will be continuing going here for massage treatments.

My first time visiting Body mechanics massage, i wanna thank Lauren kruger, so professional, made me comfortable and shes very knowledgeable and gave me perfect massage ever, i will visit again and worth recommending to everyone, your body will thank you later.

I have been to massage therapist Belal for a few sessions now and he is absolutely amazing. So professional, well versed in his field and has helped me with my back and shoulder pain a lot. He really provides patient centred care. Will definitely recommend to others!

The Body Mechanics is owned by a highly skilled & knowledgeable RMT. I have been seeing the owner for over a decade for treatments and am so happy to see her own this clinic now. There are many other skilled RMTs working here. Excellent reception staff that assist with a smooth booking process. Highly recommend coming here.
