Just to let you know the service we received was awful today. The young clerk that was behind the counter was very arrogant and did not want to help.We were trying to get information on how to deal with a certain situation and she was very uncaring and disrespectful. My mother is dealing with a death in the family and did not need the attitude she gave us, the clerk made my mother cry. If you treat everyone like this i would be ashamed to call myself a Hungarian. I was very disappointed at the treatment.An older lady was more helpful by supplying some documentation.But all in all the experience was dreadful.If I could I would leave a -5 start.

The most professional and the friendliest embassy among the europian embassies of Canada. The response is quick, and if you are lacking some details, they would gently help you through completing your application file with maximum flexibility and collaboration.The place is easy to locate, and always welcoming you with a smile. They represent the Hungarian kindness, that would make you wanna spend an even longer time in Hungary even before going.I loved every second I spend in the embassy.If there are more than 5 stars I would give it. This was probably the most pleasant experience I have had in any embassy of any country. The 2 ladies that I had the visa appointment with, were friendly, polite and very kind. Schengen visa usually takes 2 weeks and they issued it for me in 1 day since I had to travel asap. I had a paper missing and they asked me to just email it to them and were extremely nice when I followed up on the phone, the next day. Thank you so much for all your help!

I had a great experience with the embassy of Hungary at Ottawa. Specially the way of communicating with me and helping my visa application. I travelled almost 15 plus countries and had to apply visa for certain countries and Hungary embassy experience was great. Embassy officials was very helpful and efficient with my visa application process. Certainly I recommend people to visit or any other events to do with the Hungarian embassy.

We had a great experience at the Consulate. They are extremely helpful and they get things done for you. They explain everything in detail, in case you need to come back. They are very professional, helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Great experience!!!

Amazing treatment and service. I visited the consular office to get a visa. The 2 ladies were very welcoming and helpful with an amazing spirit. I witness an incident where an applicant missed his appointment a day before because his flight was cancelled. The ladies took care of him so he wont miss his swimming competition. I have been to many embassies and this would have not happened. Congrats ladies and thank you! I cant wait to visit hungary after what I experienced!
