I don't know what the heck happened to the Joey's franchise but they most definitely got it wrong with their move to serving your meals on metal trays. My grandson was very uncomfortable as were the rest of us and a number of the older customers there. Last time I checked this was a restaurant not a prison or a camp. The new menu sucks, no where near the choices as before, the fish was thin and dry not big and tasty as it normally is. And if you think it is a good idea to charge $3.00 for a little cup of coleslaw you need to think again especially when it usually is part of the meal. We used to go several times a month but after today we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I recently had the pleasure of dining in at Joey's Seafood Restaurant, and let me say that this was an exceptional experiences overall! Everything about my visit was fantastic, from the services and the ambiance of the restaurant to the remarkable and outstanding food, such as their signature fish and chips and let's not forget their fish tacos as well! This place deserve far more recognition, and will always be a spot to come to if I'm craving anymore fish tacos. So if you are a seafood lover like me, this would be a dream come true!

Really great fish & chips here! Definitely one of the best in Calgary in terms of consistent quality. The breading is hot and crispy and doesn’t flake off the fillet like some lower quality locations. Each fillet is big and the value for money is great here. Each serving of fries is large too and you get an entire bottle of tartar sauce to yourself! Service is friendly and relaxed. The interior is styled like a local home style cafe and parking is easy to find. Check this place out if you’re craving fish & chips!

My wife and I really enjoyed this Joey's Seafood Location. A lot of parking and very chill atmosphere.Shout out to Tyler the waiter for treating us well.Wife ordered the Joey's Fish and Shrimp which she enjoyed very much, different options of how they could prepare the shrimp so that's a plus.I ordered the 2 Taco Dinner. Looked good and tasted great. Clean tasting with the vegetables and herbs with a good contrast in texture with the soft taco shell and crunchy battered fish. Definitely will order this again.We will be returning for sure, overall wonderful experience.

I’d never been to a Joey’s before, but it was pretty good. Not the best fish and chips I’ve had for sure, but the quality was pretty good and the portions are quite generous. I ordered a bit too much in all fairness. I’ll probably be back in the future.

No kidding, this is one of the BEST fish and chips I've ever tried in my entire life! The menu here has many varieties of foods to choose from besides only seafood. Also the service and employees are extremely welcoming and filled with kindness. I believe that this place deserves more recognition although it's known for its fish and chips!!

A good weather needs a good Fish n Chips. Went out with family, we ordered Joeys Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque as a starter. Taste was enriched with cream, clam and lobster respectively. Must try! We had Tossed Salad. Also, Halibut and Haddock was outstanding. Taste was rich and quality of fish was amazing.Liliana welcomed us warmly and served with coffee and water before starter. She was great with customer service.
