Big chain but food was great. They didn't take reservations on Friday night but we had a group of about 30 people and got tables spread around the restaurant in about half and hour. This worked ok for us as we didn't need to all sit together. Part of a mall so tons of free parking.

Came in tonight and it was super busy, but the service was excellent. We were seated quickly and respectfully. Our server was Kira and she was great! She was very nice and made sure everything met our needs. The food came out fast, was hot, and was cooked to my liking. Was overall great experience. Will be coming back soon!

Went there yesterday and left disappointed.Service was great. Didn’t have to wait for a table and had a server who was all smiles and laughs. Can’t complain about that.The wedding soup and Caesar salad were also lovely.The reason for the low rating is the entrees. I ordered the Chicken Parm and my fiancé ordered the Jumbo shrimp Alfredo. Both were completely flavourless. We had about 4 bites each and packed them up to go so we could reheat them later with actual seasonings. The chicken parm used to be fantastic here but the breading tasted like plain bread crumbs and the sauce might as well have been a can of chunked tomatoes… thank god for the parm. The shrimp in the “jumbo” shrimp Alfredo weren’t jumbo at all. Same size as a shrimp ring from the grocery store. The Alfredo sauce again tasted like warm cream and some parm.Chances are if we go back we will do the lunch soup and salad only. Wasting $25 per entree to be disappointed isn’t worth it.

Hadn't been in the last cpl years...but heard they brought back All you can eat soup salad and homeloaf" ... headed in today and food was wonderful. Cheap lunch...fantastic food."

update last visit: june 27, tuesday5 stars, as always.. food, ambience, service and efficiency, everything is as it should be. we had the tilapia and my usual tetrazzini.. my wedding soup was great, as always.. my client's salad looked decent. adding a few more photos for reference.enjoyable experience, every time! photos aren't as good, but food was very good.. service as well. reasonably priced.. unlimited soup (garlic tomato or wedding soup for options), salad and bread (really yood bread!) -so you're guaranteed to fill whatever appetite. ate with a senior, cost 50 or 60.

Went in for dinner tonight at East sides at quinte mall and had a fantastic meal and even better service Lindsay our server was incredible!! all night long even with it looking like such a busy night!

It was my first time at Mario’s. It was a nice family restaurant to enjoy Italian cuisine. The ambiance was nice. The food quality was ok & not too fancy. The portion was reasonable. They offered free refill of fresh bread, soup & salad if you ordered their main course. It was a bit pricey but the service was good so it was worth it.

Throughout the meal, Lindsay was incredibly attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations that were perfect for my taste buds. Her attention to detail was impressive, as she made sure that my drink was always refilled, and that my meal was cooked to perfection.What stood out most to me about Lindsay was her genuine passion for providing excellent customer service. She went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was memorable!
