A lovely piece of old Mennonite cooking and hospitality. Fantastic coffee. Perfect eggs. And the strawberry crepe made the trip more than worth it

Best Clubhouse sandwich I've ever had. The desserts all look amazing ( we had the Saskatoon berry pie ), and the items for sale up front are worth a visit alone.

The food is flavorless, simple spices are salt and pepper, but I don't think they even use that. And if you're going to own a restaurant, don't get political. If you would actually like to taste your food, I suggest going somewhere else.

I visited this restaurant about 30 years ago and fell I love with the noodles and cream gravy. Kilke and Schmaudt (sp). So delighted to see the restaurant still here and still just as good as I remember! Nostalgic and delicious. And the new store has so many goodies to take home I had to stop with 1 full box! If you are in Sreinbach this is a MUST STOP!

MJ’s has been a favorite of mine for years. In the last 20 years I have ordered from, met friends, & made countless stops here until my parents passed away and most recently, my sister. Waffles with white sauce & strawberries were always a favorite. A week ago I ordered enough waffles with sauce for my sister’s Celebration of Life (25 people). They were as always, perfect! The staff & owners are amazing & always friendly and helpful. I thank them for adding the best to my numerous stays in Steinbach. Debbie Warkentin, Kenora, Ont and now Victoria BC

Great food ... I really liked the omelette and home made jam. The house cut French fries were also cooked to perfection.Extensive menu with lots of meat options for meat lovers.Would definitely go again!

I ran into my old neighbour Susan, what a pleasant surprise!!! The service was topnotch, food was amazing!!! Great place....and left with homemade coconut cream pie for dessert!!!

Fantastic traditional Mennonite food. Everything I've tried here has been great, from massive bowls of chilli to farmer sausage and perogies to the tall club sandwiches. Friendly staff and plenty of small Mennonite town culture.
