Jordan's Shawarma

We've been coming to Jordan's Shawarma for a few years now. It's a bit of a hike for us as we live to the Northeast of Toronto, but believe me, the commute is worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are more than ample and second only to the friendly, excellent, and personal service offered by the owners who both prepare and serve your meal with pride.Just a terrific family operated restaurant.Highly recommend.

Tried the chicken shawarma because of the good reviews, fries and lower price, however we really did not enjoy our wraps.Giving 3 stars because of the price and size.The shawarma wrap is massive…. a footlong and big diameter. One wrap will feed 2 people.We didn’t like our wraps because it was soaked in some weird salad dressing type sauce that wasn’t good. The inside was soggy and the outside bread was hard and dry.The worker also didn’t ask what we wanted it in, just started making it without asking which toppings and sauces.

I got 2 chicken shawarma wraps from here. I'll start this review by saying that the portions at this locstion are huge. 1 wrap is enough for 2 people. And the weird thing is, Its half the price as other shawarma locations. The lighting inside seemed a bit dim but it wasn't too busy, so no big deal. Well worth the purchase. The hot sauce is actually nice here.

One of the freshest, large sized, and amazing tasting Shawarma in the city. Must visit this classic and good quality Shawarma place. The employee was very welcoming with great communication and customer service. Bring family and friends to this cozy place with lots of chairs and tables.

After reading the reviews I decided to try this place against my better judgement as I've never had any luck with good sharwama.I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl and chicken sharwama sandwich (more like a wrap).Plenty of chicken provided in both food items, wrap was toasted in a panani press which gave the wrap a nice crunch. Should have asked for extra dressing as after a couple of bites the wrap/chicken was quite dry & flavorless. Chicken for the wrap was taken from a plastic container (who knows how long the chicken pieces were sitting in that container) whereas the chicken for the bowl was sliced off directly from a rotating skewer containing the large chicken meat pieces.The downfall of both items and previous sharwamas I've had is the chicken is always overcooked, flavorless and dry (so dry it almost had a powdery texture and disintegrated on your tongue as you bit into the chicken meat) This place was no exception. Compare this with chicken meat from Mary Brown's (moist, tender) and you will see/taste the huge difference.Luckily the sharwama bowl and wrap was mixed with rice, salad and dressing (ask for extra dressing!) which somewhat compensated for the dryness and lack of flavor of the chicken meat.Maybe I caught them on a bad day as the chicken is definitely not moist as described in previous reviews or my benchmark for properly cooked chicken is too high.Also the lady behind the counter never smiled during the entire process of accepting and preparing my food order.Chicken shawarma may be a viable delicious food option for some people but this a hard pass for me.

The place is large, nice and clean. Enough seating available indoor and outdoor. Food is good quality. Compared with other shawarma places in and around Toronto this place does feel a little behind in flavour profile.

It's ok. It's pretty long shawarma but also light on meat. Sauce pretty simple. It's ok to stop by if you close by bun not worth a drive to try it

It is an amazing shawarma place to go by yourself or as a group. The owner and his wife are super nice and always provide you services and food that make you want to go back again! Highly recommend to try!
