I had my water softener installed app 2 years ago. The owner of Nothetn Water Treatment was very quick to get back to me to make the sale but when I had a problem with the unit that he sold me it was very hard to get to talk to him and an even longer time to get him to show up and do something about the problem. He said that he adjusted the salt intake or usage of the system and that was it. I continued to have problems so I called in a competitor of his and they installed another unit as an addons to his. I still have problems so the second installer came back and after going over both systems I informed me that the first unit was installed completely backwards and that he would fix it he is scheduled for this week. I would say that Northern Water Treatment is incompetent and buyer's be aware

Hi - I highly recommend Northern Water Treatment System based near Sudbury Ontario. Raymond Martin, the owner, is an honest and genuine individual. I had recently moved to Alban Ontario over the summer and had discoloration in my water due to the high iron content in my well (tested by a third party company). In being an accountant, I always seek three quotes from three different companies. The other two companies were recommending both an iron remover and tannin remover system, without even testing the water. I found this very shady as I knew form the independent test the reason of my water issue. The other two companies were quoting over 5K to fix the issue.When I first moved in, I called Northern Water Treatment to look at my original water softener and help me understand how it operates. The previous owner had them in to install the original water softener. Raymond came in within a day and showed me in detail how to operate my water softener. He had also recommended the additional iron system as he had with the previous owner. He did not charge me for this visit even though I offered to pay him twice.Raymond quoted me the same price for the iron remover system as he had with the prior owner a few years prior. As such, he was consistent in his price and didn't try to take advantage with the fact that I was new to the area. He installed the new system professionally, even made it a lot easier for me to access my filters to clean. Without telling me, he even replaced my 5 micron water filter for free. I noticed the new filter afterwards and didn't get a chance to thank him. Most other companies I'm sure would recommend that you need to change the filter and charge you probably $50 or more.Overall, I'm very happy with Northern Water Treatment. Raymond is an honest and respectful individual. He will not try to upsell you or recommend a system that you do not need.
