The staff here are very abrasive and condescending.They informed me my doctor forgot a form then I asked which form - so I could contact my doctor and specifically request the correct form.They kept repeating that I was missing a form louder each time I asked without telling me any more info.I asked so I can try to fix things, but all they know is how to be rude.I get it: they’re frustrated at the doctor, but don’t take it out on me. I’m not familiar with your process and when I try to solve things, they just respond with more condescension instead of being helpful.I’ve been to the lifelabs on church street and they have always been nice.The staff here are jerks.

Update - I’ve been many times. Always efficient. Nurses are polite and caring without asking personal questions (like some mentioned below). I appreciate the online booking option.

Been here multiple times. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The service flow is very good. The screen helps see the queue. I'd just have to say that these clinics should also book appointments for people who do not book online. I showed up without my phone yesterday, forgot to make an actual appointment and they said they couldn't help. I would think it's easy to book in person in their system, this shouldn't be difficult at all. That's why 4/5.

It’s my first time to come in here after being sent by my family doctor, I was asked by an older lady but I cannot understand her at first and she gave me an attitude. I said it’s my first time and she just continue to being rude. It’s very disappointing. The rest of the staff were accommodating but still that old lady got me furious and makes me want to leave and not wait for my lab test to be done. I visited March 7, 2022, 2:15pm

Staff there need to get their attitude in check.The filipino lady at the front desk was very rude and made me feel embarrassed when asking simple questions. She rolled her eyes at me and clearly made it seem she didn’t want to help when I had questions. Wouldn’t recommend this lab.

The ladies in the counter started making faces as soon as I entered as it was almost time for them to close and then they started lying about the test that I meeded to fast, it would take 45 mins for the test and turned me back saying I need to come tomorrow. They are extremely unprofessional and rude. I just know they’re lying. They only like serving people of their race. This lifelabs seems to be racist and while I was koving out they literally forced me oht amd closed the door. Being in my third trimester it was such an awful experience to be yelled and show disrespect at. This kifelabs has no control over their staff and a ridiculous place.

I had a really awful experience here. I felt publicly harassed, humiliated, but most of all, helpless as the people who were supposed to be taking care of the patients - at a prominent clinic, mind you - would not even hear what I as a patient was saying to them.There is an older lady working here who seems to be in charge. She is unprofessional, rude, and dismissive of what patients have to say. I came here for a walk in blood test. I knew that as I did not make an appointment, I may have to wait a while. The number system/ waiting time monitor at the center said I had to wait 16 minutes. However, I started seeing that people who walked in without appointments after me started getting called first. Being in my third trimester, I had to urgently go to the restroom after waiting close to an hour. As clearly the lab was mismanaged and there was no order to who was being called, I did not want to go to the restroom and miss my spot on the line. When I went to the front desk to ask her how long it would take, she did not even let me finish my sentence and very loudly told me to be patient and waved me away. Without raising my voice, I tried again to tell her that please I have to go to the restroom, could she please tell me if I had the time to quickly go as I do not want to miss my spot. She started telling me that they do not follow the queue monitor, to be patient, and that people nowadays don’t have patience. When I tried to get a word in, she just made an impatient noise, very rudely waved her hand as if to shoo me away, and then just walked off. There was another older lady working on the front desk who joined in telling me to be patient as if it was I who was creating a scene, not them. I got the sense that neither of them understood or spoke English very well. On top of that, they would not let me finish my sentences before yelling at me to “be patient.” It felt clear to me that they were making assumptions based on my age, race, and gender. I cannot imagine them speaking so disrespectfully like this to a white man. Thankfully, a young woman who was a technician there just then called my name. She spoke fluent English and, more importantly, actually let me finish my sentence, unlike the older two ladies. I asked her if I could go to the restroom first. She understood and told me to go and then meet her at booth three. The technician was quick and professional - no complaints there. But as I was sitting at the booth afterwards getting my blood drawn, I heard the older two ladies still loudly talking behind my back to the waiting line how people have no patience nowadays.I wish I could have communicated these experiences privately to someone higher up who could resolve this going forward - perhaps make everyone working here attend a workshop on professionalism, customer service, cultural awareness or something - rather than post publicly and seem like venting. But LifeLabs or the clinic does not seem to have any such avenue for receiving customer/patient feedback.

The front desk ladies need an attitude check. Why would you work in this field if you're annoyed by everything?? They were very dismissive and annoyed with me because i don't have an OHIP card and my insurance card is digital( even though I emailed a copy to them in less than a minute). The 2 stars are for Leo who was very nice and took the blood sample very quickly and answered my questions as well.Seriously, if you're gonna talk about someone in another language in front of their face, at least don't work in Healthcare where people are already stressed out about their health.Also, I was totally ready for the blood test( fasting and ate an early dinner the night before), but still they were trying to find something on me to not check me in because of my insurance!!!!!

This LifeLab at 807 Broadview Avenue is great. I made online appointment, arrived 5 minutes early, provided OHIP card and doctor requisition form, was looked after very promptly. Nice lady tech advised me that with an appointment, they do their best to see the client in 5 minutes. I used to take senior mom to some of their Scarborough locations. Despite always making appointment and arriving 5 - 10 minutes ahead of time, we had to wait, sometimes 40 minutes to an hour. Really appreciate the great staff at 807 Broadview Avenue!

Rude staff with bare min sense. They do not understand or speak english properly rather yell at people for no reason. I’m surprised to see such an unorganized clinic with filthy people working.
