I'm trying to think of a lovelier, kinder, more delicious, top notch restaurant in the region where I enjoy taking my children...and nothing tops Coriander! Welcomed the spring with a family meal in April and had a stellar experience. Food: delightful (just get what's in season, you can't go wrong). Drinks: superb (be mindful if you're driving from the other side of town!). Atmosphere: priceless (might bring a sunhat next time). Cannot wait for shishitos and eggplant to be in abundance to see what they come up with!

Potentially my favorite restaurant on the east side! The vibes are unmatched if eating outside- it would not be the same experience inside. Sitting next to the canal on a nice day is so relaxing. The food and drinks are all delicious, highly recommend the smoked fish dip. The beet mojito might sound unusual but it was very refreshing. It does get pretty busy on weekends for both lunch and dinner so I recommend either making a reservation or going a little earlier as there can be quite a wait. Be sure to check out Coriander this summer!

I went to this place solely for their healthy food options, and I must say I was satisfied. The kale salad was tasty and nutritious, I loved it. The clam chowder is good, too. Their portion sizes are big, so I would suggest getting half size if you don't enjoy huge meals.

Really cool place. Excellent casual atmosphere inside and out. Outside was on a wait so we ate at the bar. Great service. Had an amazing greek salad, probably the best I've had anywhere. Fresh! Menu has a lot of vegan options for my vegan wife. I used to come here 40 years ago when it was Tommy's marina. A lot has changed. Highly recommended.

I’ve been here several times, Winter, spring, fall and summer. Every time amazing. Honestly can say the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Staff is the best! You can’t beat the atmosphere and location. Cocktails are delicious, pitchers of beer are great. Fried smelt is a must have!

Another gem in the city that Im just learning about. Miles our waiter was cool and very informative. One of the owners even came to check on us to confirm if we were enjoying ourselves. This may be my new favorite spot. Very good atmosphere and people. Didnt have any food but Im sure the plates follow suit. Signature Cocktails were on point next to the serene canal.

I love Coriander. I had my wedding there last fall. Most of the guests said that it was the best food that ever had at a wedding and some of the best they had eaten . I agree. Fresh from their garden just a few miles away, you can’t get more delicious and nutritious and beautiful .Last night I went for what was probably the 10th time and was really thrilled with everything. We ended up getting an order of fish and chips, which I never usually order, but in this case, it was absolutely amazing and way better than the fish and chips I had recently at a well known spot in London. We also had a soba noodle salad that was delicious, with wonderful vegetables from the farm. And, as always, the cocktails are unique, fresh seasonal, and two yummy. They are also beautiful. The setting is absolutely the best- rustic elegance. A country atmosphere in the middle of my favorite city, Detroit. Set in the canals on the far east side, it really is dreamy. Plus, they are constantly improving the building, the outdoor area and the amenities. We sit outside whenever the weather allows and there is no place like in in Metro Detroit.I also wanted to mention that the waiter, Ian, couldn’t have been sweeter and more attentive. All in all, it was perfect way to spend a summer Saturday night.

The drinks are the highlight here, food was definitely good but nothing stood out as very unique or amazing to me. The unique cocktails though were all great, the margarita was unique and strongly infused with jalapeno pepper & the beet drink was splendid and refreshing, a must try for summer! Very cute ambience/setting by the river.

They hosted a lovely birthday for my friend on their patio. Delicious dinner, drinks and dessert, that met everybody's various dietary restrictions. Beautiful lakeside ambiance on Detroit's East side. Finding parking was tough, but it was a splendid evening.

This is the spot to go to in Detroit for brunch. The ambiance is next level. We sat by the water and felt like we were in Florida. We started with a spicy marg and mimosa. Both stunning and delicious. The portions of food are pretty large too. We had a sandwich that was good. The star were the breakfast tacos, they were amazing!!
