Honestly better than I expected! I wasn’t sure about tocos but these are next level! I had the beef and the tuna. I had to try two different ones to get more of an experience. The line was fairly long and the wait was more than I was expecting but worth it. They were doing their best as it was a weekend so it’s expected to be busy. I thought it would be just a tourist trap (probably is) but sure worth it.

A definite must experience! It is a good truck hidden away but a gem. The vibe is laid back and friendly. A community feel with two long communal live cut tables to eat outside and music playing in the background.The food truck has a collection of stickers from visitors around the world. The food, fresh and tasty with vegan and vegetarian options too. Loved it so much went back for seconds and may visit again before I leave.

100% worth the hype and wait.We visited the famous Tacofino truck at lunch time on a Tuesday. The line was long and we expected a long wait time. In total we waited an hour before ordering. The staff were super friendly and the truck was efficiently run for the amount of customers consistently flowing through.We ordered a fish taco, pork gringas, and krispy chicken burrito. We waited about 5-10 min for our food. It was quite hot and sunny at the tables so we decided to eat in the shade in the car where it was cooler.First impressions of the food - the burrito was huge! And heavy. The fish taco was also huge, way bigger than I expected and totally worth the price for the portion alone. The gringas taco smelled amazing and looked crispy. After the first couple bites we knew it was worth the wait. Everything we had was super flavourful and fresh. Their salsa adds the perfect touch, I’d get a side of the salsa next time. The fish taco was perfect. Lots of big pieces of crispy fish covered in a delicious sauce. And the cabbage and salsa balanced out the flavours. The burrito was amazing. The flavours and textures all worked together perfectly. And the gringas taco was super juicy and cheesy.Tacofino totally lives up to the hype. It’s pricey but what you expect for Tofino prices. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in Tofino.

Definitely the best Tacos ever. There is usually a huge lineup and it took us 80 minutes from arrival till we finished our food. Was it worth it? Absolutely!!

Great beachside taco place. The burritos are better than the tacos. Good options for vegetarians and vegans alike! Really tasty, but given how popular it is the line is quite long. The staff are nice and it is worth it as a tourist site in itself.

Absolutely delicious! Beautiful selection of delectable, flavorful, fresh Mexican dishes. Yum! Such a treat for both body and soul. The truck itself is a work of art; covered in stickers and colorful all on its own. The servers are genuinely so friendly and radiate that laid back, loving west coast vibe. ❤️ My only beef is how long it takes to order and receive the food. It would be a more enjoyable wait if they had a fire pit we could all stand around and have a chat in these chilly temperature.

Such an amazing spot to get some tacos or burritos. The staff were very friendly and helpful in ordering and the food was delicious. I highly recommend heading here for lunch or dinner and eating it there as it’s a nice atmosphere on a nice sunny day. I had the beef burrito and my wife had a beef taco and a chicken taco and they were both superb!

It was recommended by several friends to try the fish tacos at Tacofino on our trip to the island and boy are we glad we did. The food was delicious! We ended up ordering the fish tacos and the tuna tacos and both were delicious. Such different flavors in both.We will definitely be going back the next trip. In the mean time on the search for a delicious fish taco at home.Hopefully the cashier that took our order sees this review and the picture, I promised to tag them in, she was pretty wonderful too!* The only downfall was a lengthy wait to order. I do think I saw that you could pre order, so will look further into that next time.

Finally got to try Tacofino and really enjoyed it! I ordered 2 tacos, one had a battered fish and the other grilled. I enjoyed the grilled more and wish I had order 2 of these. Didn't get a chance to go a second time but would definitely eat here again. The staff were very efficient and friendly!
