WORK REPORT ON MY SUITE RENOVATIONI am happy to report on the work done recently to my rental suite by Waterman Construction. David Waterman familiarized himself with this partly below grade suite in my 104 year old house near the Saanich boarder recently, and we decided that the kitchen and bathroom were both overdue to be renovated, and the house was worth the up-grading.When he and his apprentice helper started to disconnect the plumbing and remove the walls around it, they found a lot of mold and also water under the floor tiles. So both the rooms needed to be taken down to the framing, cleaned, dried and re-built. This exposed a lot of amateur electrical wiring. So he brought in professional electricians and plumbers and it was all brought up to standard, and new outlets and fans installed. All done quickly and calmly, and he knows many good tradesmen.David was meanwhile buying appropriate tile, wood, counter top material, hardware, plumbing, appliances, etc., and found several good, used items that were cheap or free.He custom-designed and beautifully built many cabinets and drawers, using Formica-faced wood, all with perfect, hand-finished edges and perfectly fitting their space. It looks very up-grade. The counter-tops he carefully edged and made the corners perfect. All the colors of paint, tiles, etc. are coordinated, and the hardware is coordinated, too.It really does look wonderful!So, I am recommending Waterman Construction as a hard-working and thoughtful company, since I have had a very satisfactory experience with them.

He ripped me off.. Gave him cash and never saw him again...
