Sage Hill Library

I went there to bring back a book, the staff was very kind and helpful, no matter the place little it have great resources, also you have the option to request from central library and get it here. I saw people working on the computers on a very quiet environment. 3 parking spaces just in front and plenty on the plaza just in front.

Last night my spouse has been studying late hours writing her thesis for her Masters Degree at UofC. today while I was studying at the library she felt like she needed a rest for 15 minutes as was very tired. She hurt no one, didn't create any noise (unlike many awake in the library), she simply put her head on her arms over the table. I explained to the library staff that she is a bit tired and all she needs is 15 minutes of rest/nap. However, they were adamant about rules of no sleeping and didn't let her to rest. Unless, I have to I will try avoid going to this location as despite of my explanation library staff did not accommodate our special needs.

This library is really tiny. Its not at all well invested.Thermostat : too warmStaff: friendly. (But when the clock clicks 6:30, they’re ready to wrap up everything for the 8pm closure. They start moving tables, chairs etc. this kills the aesthetic vibe of a library)Equipment: shoddy, not well planned. Example: Very few tables. A few them don’t have switchboards available. (Most people using a table have a laptop)Given the size, too many washrooms. The space could’ve been better utilized for a table or two.As a resident living nearby, it appears to be sugarcoating job of the local elected officials or the city where you have to create a namesake library to advertise as if the area has a library for its residents. Better option is Countryhills if you are a college or University student or a working professional

I am totally ashamed when I visited this library. I have been to other libraries in Calgary, I have not seen anyone that is noisy as this library. The management need to checkmate people who comes to the library to read to ensure no one disturbs others. Imagine someone using the quiet room in the library for an online meeting when some people were there to read. She spoke out loud to other online participants, without worrying about those who were in the room to read. Another woman brought her kids to the library to teach them an assignment and they were so disorganized and noisy. Imagine a place meant for reading! This is really bad. I think the management need to work on this. Apart from this, the library attendants are wonderful, kind and ready to assist.

This is a small and cozy library,where the kids can play in their firetruck or read in the kids space.They also have a private room for story time or programs.And the staff is always so helpful and welcoming.

A nice community library. Membership is free and allows you to select from wide range of books available all 20 libraries across the city and have them delivered to the one near you.My daughter loves this place

Amazing staff, very helpful and always there for you. Not crowded. On Mondays, there are reading sessions for the kids.

Great, small library but I wish there was more parking up front!

I had to get printouts yesterday morning, so I was using the ONLY COMPUTER available their to access my Gmail, the internet is the worse, way too slow for the 21 century. While it took more time to load, the system kicked me out saying I have exceeded 15 minutes usage. The Library was empty and there was no one waiting after me for the system, I tried to login the system again, but it kicked me out again. I returned in the evening, and tried again but no luck. Apparently the system is allowed only for 15 mins per day per member. This place sucks as it serves very little purpose for the community, they need to get three more computers and a good internet speed. I had to drive to country hills library to get my work done. This community deserves a better library with more space for kids to walk around, more computers and more quite place to study.

Small library but has a quiet study room and large media viewing panel lots of power plugs and laptops to borrow. Wheelchair accessible with clean washrooms.
