Deerfoot Meadows Orthodontics

I am both a referring dentist to and a patient of Deerfoot Meadows Orthodontics, and I can say with the utmost confidence and respect that they are one of the best, if not the best, choice in Calgary for you or your children's orthodontic needs.The doctors are incredibly thorough, and they really care about their patients.The staff all around are pleasant, efficient, and very very good at what they do. I cannot emphasize enough my recommendation for this clinic and this team.

Good place in terms of skill, results, service, cleanliness ect.However, the office seemed to ignore my complaints of loose teeth and bone loss possibly caused by braces (a possible common side effect of even properly done braces) and deep gum pockets as diagnosed by another reputable dentist. I was concerned the office possibly had a vested interest in saying the teeth was not loose because it could reflect on their orthodontics.They will probably do the job competently but Im not sure if serious issues arose they would be good at managing it, if another dentist had a different opinion they would listen, or if they are good listeners.Update April 18 2022:A instance of the dentist ignoring a potentially major issue because it may reflect on their orthodontic work came up.I mentioned a concern to the dentist and they appeared to not understand my question and instead answered a question/problem I did not have. Maybe I did not communicate the problem clearly enough.Maybe the dentist is a bad communicator but good dentist.Update: At the next appointment , the dentist mentioned my somewhat negative review and a email about my concern, and addressed the concern with a good solution. Thank you for resolving the issue.

I decided to look into orthodontic treatment as an adult, and came here on recommendations of other friends.I felt Dr. Tieu went above and beyond correcting issues that I did not even realize were a cause for concern. Not only did he fix the spacing concerns I had, but was able to correct some bite issues that could have led to unnecessary wear down the road.Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this office, child or adult.

Doctor Kemp straightened my teeth 15 years ago, and I have seen numerous dentists within that time span. Every single one of them complemented me on my great teeth and how my orthodontist did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend him!

I visited Dr. Tieu’s office in preparation for my wedding, and wanted to correct some movement that happened to my front teeth.Word to the wise, make sure you wear your retainers to avoid needing more treatment as an adult!He addressed my concerns and gave me a couple different treatment options. I went with Invisalign, and even with the confusion of the pandemic, was able to finish treatment before my reschedule wedding.He’s a great doctor and the staff have been beyond accommodating.

Dr. Long Tieu and his staff are amazing! I personally know several people that have had Orthodontic work done by him and they have had nothing but great things to say about him- My hygienist even let me know she will be bringing her kids to their office as every time she sees a patient with perfect teeth, she asks who did it, and it is always Dr. Tieu. He is honest, friendly and is very attentive to even the smallest details. I am currently in my active treatment and I am extremely satisfied with the results so far- Not only are my teeth straighter, but my bite is more comfortable since he has adjusted/aligned it (I had a slight cross-bite + open-bite). Dr. Tieu's work is of the highest quality and I will continue to recommend him to my family/friends.

I had Invisalign done by Dr. Long Tieu. I was VERY impressed with my results, and the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. The professionalism, attention to detail, and level of care from Dr. Tieu and his staff was truly exceptional. It was an absolute pleasure having my treatment done at Deerfoot Meadows Orthodontics and now I smile with confidence everywhere I go!! I highly recommend Dr. Tieu and his team!

Dr. Tieu did an amazing job of correcting my son’s overbite. He also helped us understand the why’s of his treatment. Health and ethics are the top priority for Dr. Tieu and it shows. His staff is helpful and understanding. They provide some early morning and after-work hours, which is super helpful. Highly recommend Deerfoot Meadows!

My son has been going here for 2 years now. I genuinely love the experience every time. Everyone here is so pleasant and I couldn’t be more grateful. They also are extremely accommodating.. after seeing the process with my son I decided to get braces for myself. I have quite significant sensory issues and compassion goes a long way even when I feel so many of the not so fun parts of having braces along with sensory issues are out of my control. Dr Tieu everyone working with him are just ever so wonderful at keeping you informed and making you comfortable without minimizing any of your issues.
