Restoration 1 of Northern Minnesota

Made an already difficult situation worse because we had to babysit follow up and still got very little response. We had a house fire in October 2020, house was gutted and cleaned out in November. The actual work didn’t start on the house until the end of March beginning of April. They were the contractor in charge of the project They sub contracted most of the work. They didn’t follow up on the subcontractors. Didn’t follow up on their own employees. Lack of communication. Lack of follow through. Extremely difficult to get the project done. Be prepared to pay way more than expected because on certain things they charged 51% mark up over the business who actually did the install. WE ARE STILL WAITING on warranty work to be completed. We are now on our 3rd no call no show for appointments they set up with us. For a business that had just shy of $200,000.00 go through it from our project alone, we are very disappointed.If you like waiting & seeing no results. If you like deadlines being missed, if you like poor communication, this is the business for you.UpdateIt’s been 2 months since I’ve made this post.We have to initiate contact for them to follow up. If that doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what to say.

There was a great deal of Damage to the home. I was never so glad to see Harry come in and know exactly what needed to be done. Cole, Dylan were very quick to mitigate the issues and was able to make short work of the project. Amanda and Makayla in the office was one who facilitated everyone in a timely manner. Easy to talk to and very knowledgeable in the tasks of the job. We would recommend and use Restoration 1 again... but hopefully never need to. Thank you again! You guys are great.

Restoration 1 was at my home within 15 minutes of me calling them to help mitigate excessive water from a defective pipe. Brent, Maria Zach, and Mo were very helpful in the demolition process. They were efficient, responsive, and have great communication skills!Harry was very transparent with the process and always willing to listen to my concerns.I would hands down use this business again in the future.

Outstanding is the only way to describe this company. They responded quickly and monitored the demolition and drying every dayAll the staff is very professional and just plain nice and accommodating. I highly recommend them for any restoration services. The remodeling crew of Brent, Jordan and Moe did a fantastic job. They are easy to work with and did a beautiful job.My only complaint was it was difficult to work with the person who schedules the work. He was hard to pin down on what was to be expected

Amanda was very helpful and easy to talk to! The rest of the crew was spot on services performed. They used state of the art equipment and had the right tools and knowledge to get the job done.

By far the best company to use for Mold removal. They are in and out and quickly respond. Amanda and Makayla in the office was beyond helpful and Harry was very knowledgeable in what needed to be done. Years worth of his profession at our finger tips with one phone call. Cole and Wyatt came into do the work and they were very professional and got the job down in a timely manner. We Thank you for everything we deeply appreciate your services.

Amanda and MaKayla in the office are exceptional ladies to talk with and they are very prompt with any questions that may come about within the company. Cole is a great field foreman who can assist with any questions on the jobsite. Wyatt, Dylan and Dalton are also great technicians to reach out to with any questions. Overall, this a great company and I would recommend this company to anyone in need of their services.

Ryan was here with 2 hours of service call. He was a pleasant young fellow, very professional. He sized up the problem and had a quick solution and quote to take care of the matter. Phone calls with office admin was pleasant and friendly. Amanda is knowledgeable and quick with solutions. It was a phone call I actually dread to make but all my fears were put to rest with positive reassurance and a timeframe of when work could start and be completed. Cole is a nice young fellow and is knowledgeable in his trade as well. He sized up the problem and suggested restoration one could easily handle the problem. It’s like one stop shopping… they take your mind off the situation, they take over and you just can put your mind at ease that you’re in the right hands. Will use them again if the occasion should ever arise. Would absolutely refer them out to anyone who needs them and I will send behind the work they do hands down. Completely satisfied with our service call and compassion we received.
