The Cabin
I do not recommend the cabin at beavermead. Originally I wanted chicken Caesar wrap but then I watch this guy handling the money then he went and picked up cheese to put on the burgers he was cooking and not washing his hands. We ordered large poutine and two orders of chicken fingers and fries it was soggy as hell and gravy was lumpy and cold and had to wait for a very long time. The guy was very rude to us and then he was making comments to two young girls about are they sure they had enough money and the way they were dressed. These girls were may 14 yrs old.

The food is really good, however the website is out of date so the prices are quite a bit higher and some options aren't available. Offering trays would make it a little easier. I had the falafel wrap and made a mess everywhere.

We had fries on Sunday at lunch, they were good but not great like last year. Maybe this was due to just opening, large amount of business due to the fishing derby up the road etc. Fries seemed re-fried which is not good as this leads to greasy fries.

The big poutine was super tasty. Typical fry truck prices but a great amount of food. Real curds and a nice dark brown gravy.

Food was decent but pricy for an obviously frozen patty. The cashier was lovely but the wait was long and the cook was visibly stoned with no head covering

Been driving by this place for years going to the cottage. Decided to finally stop. Major disappointment. There is no way the fryer oil has been changed in weeks (the fries were so dark). The portions were ridiculously small for the cost. The chicken finger and fries order $7.50 was 2 small chicken fingers and a handful of fries. $30 for 2 medium fries, a hot dog and chicken fingers. Would never return.

Falafel wrap was just lettuce and croutons. Barely any falafel at all. Would be nice to have some other veggies as well. Very disappointed

When they first opened years ago they had freshly made hamburger Patty's in large french fries made it there. Now everything comes Frozen. The average place now and wouldn't highly recommend.

Went to the cabin on Ashburnham, was not aware they changed their fries to shoe string instead of homemade thick fries, really disappointed. Go back to thick fries, nobody wants skimpy shoestring, might take longer to cook but worth the wait..
