Countryside Kennel

I would strongly advise you to reconsider using this kennel solely based on extremely poor customer service.I just arrived at Countryside Kennel to drop off my dog who I had booked here for the evening. The booking was completed on Monday and confirmed with credit card info held. I was supposed to drop off my dog at 11:45am today. My husband and I drove from outside Toronto and called at 11:11am as a courtesy leaving a message saying we’d be a few minutes late due to traffic. When we arrived at 12:07pm, we called multiple times and no one answered the door. I finally saw a young girl on her phone through the window who was ignoring the doorbell and knocked on the window. When she finally came to the door she said “sorry we’re closed.” I explained we had a booking for tonight and that I called ahead to advise that we’d be late. She said there was nothing she could do for us as she doesn’t know how to use the computer and to come back later when her boss is back.While I understand there is a strict 12pm drop off, they could have taken the initiative to call ahead to confirm we were still coming or to check their voicemail. While this is a disappointing experience, I’m happy our dog is not staying here given how poorly they treat their customers.

Absolutely fantastic place. They take details notes for your dog’s behaviour and health concerns. My dog seems very happy to see us when we pick her up which means she had a great time here. Will definitely come back.

My dog absolutely loves this place!! We picked him up from a 4 day weekend there and he was absolutely exhausted, which is amazing knowing my puppy loved it and was well looked after! Just booked him for a 2 week vacation there, well we will be gone. This won’t make me as sad to leave him because I know he will be well looked after and cared for!! Thank you countryside kennel for treating my pup so amazing like it’s like your own!

The staff are great. They really care about your fur babies. The staff definitely go above and beyond their job. Would recommend them over and over. My Yorkiepoo (Charlie) loves going to doggy day care. Always so tuckered out after a day of play.

We have been bringing our dog here for months for regular daycare and occasional boarding. Cant say enough amazing things about the staff and manager Meesha. We are confident they have our dogs best interest in mind every time and he comes home tired and happy. Wouldn't trust our fur baby with anyone else!

Took care of our three little dogs (one of which had never stayed at a kennel before). Our dogs came back completely clean (which has never happened for us before after a kennel stay) and also very happy and relaxed. We received frequent updates, photos, and videos about how they were doing throughout their stay. Countryside was also very accommodating in allowing all three of our dogs to stay together the entire time. Thank you Countryside for taking care of our dogs so well!!

Countryside Kennel is absolutely amazing! Our dog isn’t a fan of others & with the bronze package available we have somewhere for him to go and be safe! He absolutely loves going there & is so excited when he sees his kennel bag!Staff is wonderful & we know Tucker is taken care of!Countryside will always be our number one!

I have the most difficult dogs on the planet and I was so nervous that the ladies wouldn’t be able to handle them and stay safe(rescue and unsocialized farm dogs). They made me feel so comfortable and that knowing they handled King and Nellie with patiences and love. Thank you so much for everything

My puppy had a great first stay at a kennel with Countryside Kennels. The booking, check in, and pick up were all simple and efficient. He was bouncy and happy when I picked him up, and all clean from his bath that I booked him. I will definitely be bringing him back.
