Macshack Family Restaurant

Found this one last year and really were surprised at the quality of the food and the excellent service so went back today for lunch. Bit of a rocky start - my wife and I both decided on steak and eggs. Oops - no steak. I then decided on a salad and the wife on eggs Benedict. Oops, no English muffins. Wife then decided on their special, a lobster roll platter. I guess the salad was much healthier for me than the steak and eggs with home fries, etc. and was very good to boot, so I was satisfied. Wife was more than satisfied with her final choice and was glad for it. She opined that it was one of the best lobster rolls she had ever had!. Only complaint was that they pre salted the fries and she would have preferred no salt. The service was excellent and they have a good menu selection, even some Chinese. We will be back.

The Philly Cheese & Steak Wrap was excellent. Fries were crispy and golden brown and the portion size was perfect. Thank you MacShack for the wonderful meal.

This restaurant is a busy place. It's cozy and the service is pleasant and welcoming.The food is served fast and it's served hot. You can tell it's a family run business as grandkids came and were happy to be there.We dropped in on our way through from Ontario. It was nice to find a friendly place. It was clean and so were the washrooms.Our server was very nice and made us feel comfortable. I believe in the summer there's a fry truck that operates but I can say for certain.The prices are good as well.
