Tried the pork cutlet curry from here and I thought the pork was pretty tasty along with the curry and salad. The rice left a lot to be desired though. Wish they gave more curry, definitely did not feel like there was enough.

One of my favourites in Lansdowne mall Food Court. A good HK style Japanese food.I like the curry pork chop rice there. If it comes with a free drink, it would be great.

Second visit. Pumpkin croquettes, chicken Katsu and a tuna bowl. The katsu was hot and the curry delicious, each order is made to order so it always fresh. The tuna bowl was full of flavour and just the right amount of everything, fish, rice, veggies and sauce. The croquettes are so delicious, fresh and crunchy. This is a hidden gem in the Lower Mainland and I can’t believe more people are not there.

I discovered this place about 2 weeks ago, was incredibly surprised by how good the food was. You have to wait around 10 minutes, that's because it's being freshly made. The Chicken Katsu + Japanese curry is $12, there are so much meat. The quality and quantity easily tops most restaurants. Even a big boy like me gets full! I will be coming here on a weekly basis. By the way, I've been here 3 times now :)

Probably your best choice for food, in the food court, in all aspects!Super happy my gf and I chose this place, since we wanted a quick bite for lunch while shopping.Saw on the reviews, that we were reccomended to try the pork Katsu/Cutlet and it was sooooo good! For only $13, you get TWO cutlets, a good portion of rice, curry sauce and then a side salad. (Not sure why previous people whine about the portion of rice/curry sauce ..becuase everything was in point)The cutlets were cooked to perfection, crispy and juicy interior, and let here happy and full!Highly reccomend this to anyone who is in the mall, and wants a deliciously good meal, with great value!

Decided to try Katte Japanese Katsu & Poke. It was not busy no matter what time of the day I visited the food court of Lansdowne Centre. Ordered Curry Katsu Pork (deep fried pork cutlet with curry sauce). Waited about 10 minutes. Pleasantly surprised by the portion and doubtful of whether I could finish half of the food, I spooned some curry sauce which was served on the side, drizzled it on a few slices of the cutlet and the rice, and, oh my gosh, they were delicious! The cutlet is on the lean side & covered heavily in bread crumbs. That might explain why some reviews said they are drier than normal. Eating the cutlet without sauce could render them both harder and drier, and the bread crumbs could be rough on the tongue, so beware. I have no ability to tell if the meat was a fresh cut or not, but I would say the cutlet was large and nothing was wrong in the taste and smell. The cutlet was piping hot and irresistible. Rice looked like a tiny portion but was enough for my appetite. Shredded Cabbage Salad was thinly cut and the (fruit based) dressing was great and make a great balance with the greasiness of the cutlet. For a food court stall, the quality of food from Katte is above my expectations. Definitely will come back for their $12 curry katsu. Next time, I might get their brown rice and a cup of genmai tea.

I'm definitely coming back here when I next crave katsu. It wasn't busy when I went around 2pm, and honestly I'm suprised because their katsu is delicious and the platter is generous for their prices.I bought a pork katsu and a chicken katsu for $12 a plate, and was pleasantly stunned by the amount of food they give you (there were TWO layers of meat in the takeout box! What the heck!!) Both cutlets were moist, amazingly breaded and fried, the rice is cooked well, and I like the sauce they give you on the cabbage (i think it's a mango based dressing). Everything came hot and fresh. The curry was okay, kind of reminiscent of pre-packaged curry so it's nothing to write home about, but it's the quality and quantity of the proteins that's convinced me to keep Katte as a prime spot for lunch.

I didn't expect much but the pork Katsu was pretty decent. Big portion, juicy, and very flavourful! Curry was pretty basic but goes so well together! The rice itself was pretty good too! For $13, can't complain!
