Hugh Cairns Home Inspections

Hugh recently completed a home inspection on a property I was looking to buy. I couldn’t have been happier with the service.He was very thorough when going through the property, taking the time to note on all small details and even explain how his equipment worked.Being a first time buyer I really appreciated that he took the time to explain things and the inspection process.

He understands many of the pitfalls of construction and can tell you even what's not visible to the naked eye. without the BS, He tells you exactly what you need to know and the photos and reports have been a very effective tool when re-negotiating deficiency's with sellers. Jamie and Hugh are everything a perspective home buyer looks for in an inspectors. They were fair, honest, and very knowledgeable. They were well organized and put us the new home owners at ease. They explained the process and their findings in easy to see and understand vocabulary.

We just used Hugh for the second time. Super thorough, really in-depth, and very knowledgeable. He made quite the effort to try to find all the hidden problems and to ask questions about why things in the house were done a certain way. The report was clear and he went through each point. With 20+ years experience, you can totally trust Hugh. He's very knowledgeable and explains the details. We joined him for our whole inspection and he was great. He has a special thermal imaging camera too. He trains new home inspectors and evaluates them for their government license.

Hugh did our home inspection, and it was such a nice experience! As buyers, he did not only pointed out stuff that were bad, but also took the time to explained to us how stuff where made, and what was causing the issue, how to solve it etc.. We were involved in the home inspection and we learnt a tones of things that I am sure are going to be more than useful. I truely recommand him
