My spouse and I agree that our experience with Alair Homes of Victoria was an excellent one.We needed help with a significant home repair and were nervous about finding the right contractor and resources to help us out. Alair Homes had been recommended to us by a Trades acquaintance who we trusted, so we gave them a call.Mike, my initial contact with Alair Homes Victoria was very professional and personable. He outlined to us upfront, the anticipated work and costs. He also walked us through Alair's standard project process and discussed how it could be tailored to our particular situation. I took comfort in the fact that one of the first steps in the process was to work with us to develop and agree on a plan and budget.The resources contracted by Alair for our project, such as framers, carpenters, finishers, dry-wall and stucco resources, were all very personable, respectful, professional, skilled and efficient. We were extremely comfortable with all of the contractors chosen to work on our home.The assigned Alair project Manager, Victor was very much a partner to my spouse and I, keeping us fully informed of the status of the project. Victor was always readily available and immediately responded to any question or concerns we had. He proved himself knowledgeable and appropriately experienced on all the trades involved in our project. He maintained good oversight of all the Contract resources and ensured that all work was completed to our satisfaction. In the end, we were very satisfied with the work done and it was completed below budget.

I am really impressed with the job Alair Home Victoria did in renovating the exterior of our home. From the start, they listened to our feedback, were absolutely attentive to our budget, and completely transparent in relaying information about potential delays or alternate approaches - so that we always felt engaged and assisted though the project.Alair also excelled in providing a personal touch to their project. Alair Homes recently handled our basement renovations. We were impressed with several things about their approach. Our custom home was built for us in Sooke in 2022. The build took less than one year from start to finish, during a time of some challenging post-Covid supply chain issues. Despite some hiccups and curve balls along the way, our Project Manager Victor, kept us informed and reassured as the project progressed. The quality of workmanship is excellent, and we are incredibly happy with Alair service and professionalism.

I recently had my kitchen and guest bathroom remodeled by Alair Homes Victoria and am ever so pleased that I had chosen them to do the job. They were very professional and kept me informed every step of the renovation. Considering that my 2 dogs and I were living in the condo while the renovation was taking place the Trades they had employed were amazing and kept the work area cleaned at the end of the day. Now I have a beautiful new kitchen and bathroom that is modern and a more efficient space. The living/dining rooms were also repainted making them look fresh, the the mantle now is the focus area in the living room. LOVE IT!Thank you.

I found Mike Holstein to be a competent and well spoken professional. He took the time to review my plans and offer valuable insight. Ultimately my project was a bit too small for a professional custom home builder like Alair, but there certainly was no hard feelings, quite the opposite. I think Alair bring solid expertise to custom home builds.

Alair did a phenomenal job for us! In our basement we added a second bathroom and a laundry room, this was our first time using Alair and everything turned out beautifully. They made the process seamless, the workers were prompt, polite and professional. They were very courteous and were respectful of our home.
