Open Arms Nursery

Updated.There is an acceptable amout of noise which we can all live with. However almost everyday the noise would exceeds this acceptable level. Also, children playing isn't very loud, children screeming their head off is ear piercing. I would have thought as a business person in the community, rather then attact the honest review of someone who overlooks and lives near your business daily would have looked in to the matter 1st.Since my review, we have noticed an Improvement so thank you for being this to the attention of your staff.Your kid will scream all day long and nobody will stop it. Supervisor will stand by and play on her phone while your child throws a fit.No, I'm not a troll, I love my Life. I live in the building and hear these children scream all day everyday. If the parents had time to sit and listen I'm sure it would be brought to your attention.

We decided to enroll our 2yo at Open Arms Nursery because we felt it was a very calm and nurturing place and it is. Miss Simmi(supervisor) was very accomodating with all our questions and is very professional. Miss Jessica my daughter’s teacher was very pleasant, gentle and caring. We had a very brief experience at OAN because of personal matters but overall, our daughter seemed very happy as we noticed shes feeling uplifted and happy every pickup time. Their outdoor play area is safe and appealing and classrooms are clean. Staff are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

My son had been with Storytime Daycare for more than one year. He had a great time. All the teachers are professional and love kids. Its supervisor Debbie is the best supervisor I met. She took initiative to communicate with parents and made good suggestions.

In the last 25 years, I've had the privilege of working in many Childcare facilities, both in larger organizations and stand alone Centers. I loved each and every Centre I've ever worked in, all of which offered their own set of challenges and amazing experiences . In my opinion, it's always about the people you work with and collectively what you make of it . After taking some time away to raise my own family, I returned to the Childcare field, which I've always had a genuine love and passion for . Storytime Childcare drew me in with the warmth I felt and the genuine smiles I saw, as they welcomed me at the door. Both families and staff members alike, have been nothing but supportive, accepting and welcoming with open arms since day one. The Director is the most caring, passionate and professional business woman I've ever met. I am proud of the growth that we as a team have accomplished over the last 8 months, while I've been here Supervising these amazing women. I love our team, our families and our facility. I stand by what I say and can assure you, when you walk through our doors you'll feel the same way I felt on my first day.Debbie Harlow

We are so happy we found Open Arms. Our child was so happy here. The staff are fantastic: professional, friendly, caring. The facility is clean, great outdoor area, and the food served was homemade. Staff work hard to provide structure for children. Our child had fun every day and we were happy to leave him with staff who we felt were like family. I would recommend Open Arms to anyone looking for a safe, fun and reliable care centre for their little ones!

My daughter is going to this daycare for the past 6months. Amazing staff and special thanks to Miss Dana and April in Infant section. Meals are good, good indoor and outdoor play grounds and toys. Also key pad entry for extra security which is amazing. The brightwheel daily report and communication app as well as WatchMeGrow camera app are amazing.Thank you open Arms.

My son went to daycare here for 3 years and had a great time. Clean and organized facility with natural light and outdoor play areas. Highly recommend this daycare!

if you want your child to build up more immune system, you can chose open arm Nursery. if your child is active and copy fast, he/ she will develop more behaviors in daycare and home, don't chose open arm nursery. it's true story, any questions, please send me e-mail, I can tell my child story in open arm.

We sent our son to this nursery since he was 11 months old. Just like any other baby, he was upset in the beginning but everyone at the daycare made him feel comfortable and in no time, he started looking forward to going everyday. We saw our little guy transitioning from a baby to a toddler - learning new things and making new friends along the way. It's also worth mentioning that the administration at this facility is highly responsive and flexible, and works alongside parents to support their kids in everyday possible. Highly recommended !!

As a first time mom, heading back to work after maternity leave was a bit anxious. However, from my first meeting, I had a good feeling about sending my daughter to Open Arms Nursery. The staff were friendly and warm. They had just taken over from the previous owners in January 2019. The facilities were clean, the nursery area with the cribs had good spacing and was well designed. The facility itself is off Marshall St, which is tucked into a quiet area with green space and a park close by. My daughter had food allergies and they allowed for alternate meals to be provided for her on days when the menu contained those allergens. Miss Simmi was always prompt and responsive to my numerous requests. They were very gracious in being adaptive in the transition schedule to allow my daughter to be challenged in her development from the infant to the toddler room and I appreciated that. Open Arms is a great nursery, with very caring and trained staff.
