Seair Seaplanes

Best experience every single time with this company. Seair staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. Free coffee, free wifi help if you're not so tech savvy, free dog pats quite often. Saw a beaver floating in the river at south terminal last time I was there. Great waiting area, comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend. I flew Nanaimo to YVR and have used the downtown Vancouver seaplane terminal as well which is quite large and has a cafe in it shared by other airlines. Parking is free at south terminal and in Nanaimo and locked after hours in Nanaimo. Great company!!

Excellent service all the way. Booking was easy and accommodated all additionalrequests and went above and beyond. Office staff, deck crew and pilot were first class. thank you for such a great experience.

I have never flown on Seair but I worked at YVR and they let my grandson sit in the cockpit of one of their planes and he was still talking about how cool it was weeks later and showed all his schoolmates the pics we took there.

Been using Seair for more than a decade. Professional. Reliable. Helpful. Good value for dollar. They are a know you by name sort of outfit. Shuttle service to the airport is a always helpful. Great staff.Complimentary coffee and soft drinks for paying customers. Great views.Walking distance to the Flying Beaver if you need a bite to eat. Please like my review if it was helpful.

Have taken a couple of flights to Nanaimo and it’s been a great experience each time. Quick check in. They do weight your luggage and store it for you. 15-20 min flight. All the pilots have been very friendly. There is free parking across the road (based in availability). There’s another paid lot across from there.My favourite touch is the free coffee and tea in the terminal!

Sea air is an awesome service worth the money. Staff is very kind and helpful. I missed my first flight due to delays at the airport and they put me on the next flight free of charge

Just arrived from the US, and took my first seaplane ride. When they found out, they let me sit up front in the copilot seat! The experience of seeing the pilot go through his routine, explain to me some of what is involved in his work, and seeing the Island for the first time from the air was amazing.Very friendly, very helpful, and an affordable service. They're also running an unbelievable special April 2018, so I'm able to spend some time with a friend from the Island there and in Van.

My family travelled with Seair August 11 to Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge for a three day vacation, scheduled to leave at 2:30pm. We called multiple times to check with the organization to inquire when we should arrive and they consistently said 30mins before. When my family group of 7 arrived at 2pm, we were told we were on the 5pm. After correcting that agent, Evelyn, that we were all on the 2:30pm, she told us there was a delay. We didn’t receive a phone call or email or any type of notification that there was a delay. We took multiple taxis to arrive at the recommended time at 2pm and now there was a 2.5hr delay.Evelyn, only told us there was a weather delay on the gorgeously clear, sunny day that day with no apologies. She only offer 5 spots on our original flight, which we would have to leave two people form our party of 7 to start our vacation. We were clearly upset getting this surprise but again no apologies and instead we received nasty glares and a snarky attitude. When we finally decided that my husband and son would stay behind for the 5pm flight, she practically threw all the boarding passes across the counter to my husband.I honestly have not received such poor, inconsiderate service having flown on Harbour Air and Helijet. For airfare that cost $1300 person ( x 7 = $9100), the expectation of service and basic courtesy should be the minimal.My husband and son lost time from our short vacation and had to spend more money to kill time and eat down the road before their flight.I am highly disappointed with Seair and their lack of client services.

Highly recommend Seair! They exceeded all expectations in making my surprise proposal unforgettable. From booking to landing, their professionalism and care were exceptional. Special shoutout to our pilot, Paul, and the office team including Meaghan, Evelyn and Lenny who were all exceptional. Thank you for making our special day even more memorable.

First time flying with seair and had a great time, waiting area is nice with good coffee and fresh milk, staff is friendly, planes are clean and even have that “new car” smell.
