Great gym, especially for beginners. The coaches will guide you on anything you want to work on or teach you, if your willing to learn. There is no judgment no matter your level of skill from the coaches or the other members. Its a positive environment to train in. Would highly recommend for anyone that wants to learn of advance their boxing skills. Very glad I joined!

Champions is a great gym with a really positive atmosphere. The coaches are great and super encouraging upon every step of their students journey. The members here create a friendly judgement free zone perfect for beginners!I would highly recommended this boxing gym to both new boxers and advanced boxers!

Champions Boxing Gym is the best! I came here during travel for work and spent a few days here. The first day, John, the owner/trainer said he treats people like family and I saw that during my time there. If you are looking to be improve your boxing technique, whether you are pro or amateur, John is the guy. Great instruction/drills/coaching. If you are just looking to work out or get in shape, he will put you through a great workout. Everyone there was very friendly as well. I can’t wait to come back.

Champion boxing clubs owner and head coach John Melich is the real deal. He's been training champions since 1984 in the same location. The gym is full of history which is evident from all the pictures and posters of fighters from Champion over the years. Champion may not be as fancy as some newer gyms, but any boxer knows that's not important, and that it's the coaches and the members that make a gym great. If you're actually interested in the real thing, Champion's boxing club is a great choice!

John is an amazing coach. My wife and I have been training at champion boxing for about 6 months, and we love it there. The atmosphere is rough and tough like an old school boxing gym, but with the mindset of new school learning. When you walk in the gym it feels like you're training in the 80's. Coach John is a tough guy with the heart of gold, he will push you to break barriers physically, mentally and emotionally. On top of just being a boxing coach, John is also a great life coach. He is very well educated, and he truly cares about all of his students and takes great pride in his work. 10/10

I’ve only been here for more than a month but it’s saying something if I’m taking my photography skills to show off how much I love this place. I’m learning a lot more than just boxing; I’m pushing myself more than I would’ve at a regular gym mentally and cardio-wise. Working with everyone else who’s there as well is humbling, but at the same time, they all make the place feel like a community helping each other to become better and improve.Overall, this is definitely a really cool gym and a place you should check out if you’re interested.

Champion boxing I recently started there great atmosphere family-oriented my son started he's boxing career there 2013-14 and today he'sa pro boxer because he started he's career there so to wish and please come out and check champion boxing the founder of champion boxing the late great John Melich John jr. this gym is GREAT! Coach John Melich Jr makes everything easy, he is a ideal coach! I have only been going to the gym for less than 2 months and feel like I have improved my skills in no time, would 100% recommend for experienced or new boxers...

I've been training with Coach John Melich for over a year now. Over the year I've taken numerous private 1 on 1 training classes as well as group classes prior to COVID-19. The 1 on 1 personal training with Coach John has helped me reduce body fat to single digit's, learn boxing fundamentals while simultaneously building strength.Coach tailors the workouts and personal training for each individuals needs based on their strengths and weaknesses. I would note that the sessions are intense and difficult. The first few sessions were difficult for me to get through but as time progressed I was able to fight through it with Coach's help.Overall I'd recommend Champion Boxing Club to anyone that's looking to learn self defense, get in shape, and build confidence. The facility has a ring, speed bags, aqua bags, heavy bags, stairs, and more equipment. I'd say the size and equipment tailored with Coach John make it one of the best boxing gyms around.

They don't actually train you here unless you buy private lessons, and even then, you're not being trained by someone who really cares about you. The original owner died, and since then - the Gym has essentially been a joke. Sometimes the current owner won't show up, and he won't even let you know in advance. You spend the majority of your time working on cardio, which is how you know this place is now a scam. The gym died with with the original owner, if you're looking to learn, and to fight - don't come here. They'll throw you in the ring with no actual training to make an example out of you, and to just train themselves. Stay away from this trash gym.
