Boucherie Les Épicurieux
Fantastic fresh baked Tourtière and the crust was delightfully flaky and so delicious when out of the oven cooling off on the spot just before lunch time on a Saturday. There meats are known to be primarily of local origin, the cold cuts and sausages are artisan made including an offering of Quebec cheeses. To note: They are a Lufa Farms pick-up point, so while waiting you can browse a selection of local micro beers on hand to pickup with your shopping.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Very helpful staff, willing to get you anything you need.The only thing that they can be accused of is being too helpful. Ordered pig cheeks for guanciale and they took out all the fat and glands and I was left with little nuggets of meat. Made and excellent braise, but not what I was going for. Other time I wanted a whole hind leg to cure as a ham, but it was cut in two. Again, they were just trying to be helpful and I should have explained exactly what I wanted. I don't think a lot of people do their own charcuterie and smoking as I do.

Service here is friendly and excellent! I have now tried their wild meat pie (gibier") and the curry raisin sausage. Both are delicious! I still haven't tried yet my other purchases of the pate and duck hearts. Got good tips from the butcher on cooking the duck hearts in a pan with butter

Everything I have tried for at home cooking has been delicious! Cabbage rolls (with pork), Quail with boar sausage, and the Lamb Croquettes were all top notch. Very friendly staff, and a good spot for a lunch sandwich too (the Cuban pork is my favorite).

Extremely friendly and helpful owner, proud of his shop and it's content. We tried a selection of cold cuts, and it was all delicious and pleasantly varied. I will definitely go back!

Outstanding! One day, I was wandering around Angus Shop and spotted a butcher shop and decided to give it a try. I was really impressed and kept coming back for the excellent meat and super friendly service. Meat is locally sourced. Can’t recommend it enough!
