I'm in a job on the frontlines working with people and have always loved the idea of counselling as a check-up to make sure I'm aware of how I'm doing and loving myself well. I had been to a couple counsellors in the last decade before finding Bob. None of them were quite the right fit, but I was limited due to location. With the lockdown presenting the option for online, I was able to get connected with Bob. I've had 12 sessions with him over Covid and am grateful to have him in my support network.Bob is a gifted, compassionate counsellor. I find he has the right blend of listening and talking, rightly identifying when I need to be heard and when I need to be challenged. He's knowledgeable, and has offered me tools, analogies and resources for further study that has helped me become more effective in work and healthy in life than before.

Husband went here. He was encouraged to divorce because of my anxiety issues. Insane for a Christian man to tell someone that.

Bob is one of the kindest and most empathetic counselors I have engaged. He has an interesting professional history that allows him to include a spiritual component as desired, yet he is very respectful of (all) your boundaries and includes that element in session only if invited. His insight, observation, and knowledge shine in both secular and spiritual modalities, and are consistently applied with a gentle, loving approach -- outside of my marriage, I have rarely felt as emotionally safe as I have in session with Bob. While helping to shine the light of clarity on my internal knots, he does not dwell on picking apart pathologies, but is always (gently, kindly) nudging my focus toward a process that fosters a life of peace, health and love. After a short while in his care I thought I would stop for while, but my wife insisted I go citing my remarkable progress. My inner world has gone from a place I feared to linger within, to a rejuvenating sanctuary that I actively tend; I am grateful that I have found Bob (and that he was the very first to call me back!).-------=======-------If you are hurting, there is no shame in seeking help. It may take time to find a good fit for you, and I encourage you to give Bob a try, but please act today. There is no reason to settle for pain, fear, and isolation.-------=======-------

Bob is a friendly person to talk to who is very open and understanding. He has a long list of metaphors and related stories that really helped us understand things about our own lives and problems more clearly. If any of my friends or family are looking for a counsellor my husband and I both recommend Bob.

I can not speak highly enough about this counselor! We've been going to him off and on for a couple years now, individually and as a married couple.It took us a while to find the right counselor for us because we wanted to feel like we could trust them and we wanted to share the same christian belief system.He's kind, considerate, prays with you, prays for you and is a great resource. But, he's also honest and has years of experience. That means that sometimes he'll say things you don't like and want to hear. But if you're honest with yourself and take some time to process, you'll realize he's probably right.He's helped us so much and I recommend him to literally everyone I know!I especially recommend absolutely every married couple I know to go see him. There is such a stigma around counseling that says you have to be on the rocks or almost breaking up to see a counselor. But that's not true! Even healthy people go for check ups! It is so much easier to start good habits now, early, while things are great, then try to stop bad habits 25 years later.All in all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Just go!

It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help, and it has taken me years too. When you have a problem like a cut, you put a bandage on it as soon as possible, to help heal it, much like a therapist is for our feelings, to help us during times we need it. And a therapist should be able to help anyway they can, with kindness and understanding and to give us the tools to manage what we are going through. I needed someone to talk to about everything I needed help with and needed an ESA letter (emotional support letter) for my dog. It took the love for my dog to get the help I needed bc I do need it, my dog helps me. My dog is an emotional support tool for me. I tried making an appointment with FAMILY LIFE COUNSELING IN LEAMINGTON. The phone conversation I had with him to book an appointment was an awful experience and completely unprofessional. I was so upset by the phone conversation, I was shaking.There was so much said that I won't repeat but, I was told that there was too much going on with (my move away) to make an appointment with him and it was better to get someone after we moved to go see and was laughed/scoffed at when I asked if he did an ESA letter and he did say no he wouldn't do that, how could he possibly suggest that if he's know me less then an hour"
