Definitely a one star rated property. When you try to kindly request a repair or replacement for a damaged or not working appliance, they will accuse you for not using properly, even if you just moved in for a week, which obviously the damage was done before moving in.There are multiple area that emits strange and loud sound in the unit. However, the management will accuse the tenant to have a 'sensitive ear'.This management will NOT admit any problems and will NOT fix your problems.

Overall a very disappointing experience, there are many things they need to address. They" as the people who manage this place

If I could rate my experience renting at Bison Pointe, a zero, I would.Renting here was traumatizing. The husband/wife duo that were the managers of my building, were completely unprofessional. Well according to the wife in her own words she was the manager, her husband was the janitor and caretaker and had no authority. She clarified this when she tried to sneakily, randomly, charge me yet another fee on top of our exuberant rent, that her husband said was covered by the building. At every turn I felt that the managers of Bison Pointe 2 acted, like they were running a dorm, not a condo complex. The continual degree of disrespect I experienced, was personal. Simply asking for update for repairs was met with, indifference, additional paperwork, and many were never done. And the ones which were took months.A climax of my experience, came when the police were called after I become frustrated with the poor job she was doing, and her ridiculous belittling attitude, and told her as much. Later after this confrontation, 2 men arrived at my door claiming “noise complaint” but brought up specific issues that I had discussed with the manager. Things only she would know. She had called the police. And she had definitely spoken directly or indirectly to the police. She was upset about what I had said, and had hoped the police (who she clearly sees as hired muscle, not people doing important work) would intimidate me into being compliant. Her behaviour was morally wrong, this and her husband’s continual curiosity of where “I came from”, disdain that we never had issue paying rent, and always paid well ahead, displayed itself multiple times in their behaviour towards me. Using the police to scare minority tenants is wrong. It’s evil and it’s calculated. I would never tell anyone to rent at this complex, and if you are I would minimize contact with the managers, and do everything to protect your wallet. As already mentioned by another reviewer, these are not luxury apartments. They’re basic apartments with a modern but generic and cheap layout. The entire concept is a money grab and works primarily on curb appeal and location. It’s not worth the money, it’s a waste.

I lived in Bison Pointe I for almost 2 years, and absolutely loved it. Good location, cool floorplans.Any issues were resolved immediately.I wish I could take my apartment with me to another province.

One of the worst property management in Winnipeg. Notorious for ripping off its renters.

They advertise the buildings as “luxury” but really they’re pretty standard. Laminate countertops throughout, no backsplash, cheap faucets, cheap doors, standard cabinets, tiny gym available in only one floor, super unflexible rental terms (can’t extend a month at all, you MUST go for another full year lease, unlike other more flexible companies). I would say a couple good things are location and big windows in both living room and bedroom. I think location is the biggest reason this gets leased super easy. But honestly as a professional and not a student, the finishes inside are so cheap and ugly for the luxury price.
