Our Bouvier, George, was an adorable puppy. He was everything we wanted in a dog, until he started showing behaviours that I didn't know what to do with (e.g., running down the stairs ahead of us, door bolting, stealing food, terrible walking on a leash, barking at anything outside that moved). As he got older, these behaviours were hard to try to correct and what we were trying wasn't working. This is when we first met Bill! And after our first visit, we learned how to understand dog language and signs and how to communicate back. We immediately noticed a positive change.A couple years later when COVID, and after our family returned to work, our neighbours called to say our dog was crying for 8 hours! The separation anxiety was so bad, I thought we were going to have to find George a new home. We immediately called Bill (911) for help. He worked with us so that we could re-train ourselves and George.Dealing with separation anxiety wasn't as easy of a fix as the previous issues. It was doing the exercises and scenarios on a daily basis. But with consistency, hard work and a great coach, I am happy to say, George is doing much better. He is happier and healthier. My husband and I rescued a husky mix in June of this year as our second dog. We knew the new dog, Shumy, would need more attention and 'work', but we just didn't have the tools to help him adjust to his new life. Shumy is extremely strong, so walking him was difficult. We tried a gentle leader which helped, but we still felt like we were fighting with him. He would lunge at small animals and he'd jump and bark when he saw other dogs which would frighten strangers because he's so big and wild looking.We also recognized some behaviours that indicated he had separation anxiety and just general bad manners around the house, meeting new people, eating our other dog's food, demanding attention etc. He was never aggressive, but our DIY training just wasn't getting the results we wanted.We looked up local dog trainers and quickly came across Bark Busters. The reviews obviously looked great but we were a little apprehensive about the 'no treat' concept, but we called and made and appointment with Bill anyway, which was the best thing we could have done.Bill came to our house and we were immediately impressed with his knowledge. He (politely) pointed out how our previous communication style with the dogs was totally wrong and gave us clear guidelines on how to establish rank within our household with my husband and I being the leaders. After the session, which was already well worth the full cost, we committed to sticking to the work for 30 straight days and saw awesome results. We could tell that Shumy knew what we expected of him and was beginning to trust us as leaders. During Bill's second visit, we got to see our hard work pay off as Bill taught us to walk Shumy properly, with him beside us allowing us lead instead of pulling us along. We learned other new skills during that session as well and use them everyday. Bill is also quick to respond on email and phone and we always felt supported.While Shumy isn't perfect and we still work with him everyday to curb his bad behaviours, its been a total pleasure to watch Shumy transform from a wildling to a well behaved house pet. We fully recommend going with Bark Busters if you're looking for training solutions - its well worth it and more effective than any other dog training solution I've ever seen.

I can’t express enough gratitude to Will for helping us with our two dogs and for teaching us the skills to deal with them in an effective way!It was so encouraging to see results IMMEDIATELY with things that I thought would be impossible to correct, such as: barking, not respecting our space, running past us through doorways or stairs, and walking nicely on the leash (to name a few).Our biggest challenge was our one and a half year-old puppy (or so we thought), who is very high energy, doesn’t listen or realize her own size (which included knocking us over on stairs or doorways) and has major tugging issues on her leash. 1 session with Will and she is now quiet, submissive, and she walks right beside us on the sidewalk without risking losing an arm.Our second dog who is nine years old has had issues barking consistently his entire life. Once again Will saved us by explaining to us dog psychology and teaching us how things that we do in our daily lives can have the opposite effect that we think it does on a dog based on the way they interpret our signals.Through Will’s thorough explanations and exercises, we’ve developed a better understanding of both dogs we currently have, and how to effectively manage and communicate in a way that they specifically understand.Every day our dogs provide us with different challenges but I wake up feeling so much more confident knowing that I have the skills to manage their behaviours. If I ever do come across something new, I always appreciate that Will is so quick to respond to any calls or emails and to provide assistance with any new obstacles we face!Thank you so much Will, I feel like both my dad and I have such a new relationship with both our dogs in the best way possible. William was amazing and I cannot thank Bark Busters and Wil enough. My Puppy Draco would bark at everything and every noise, jump on family when they came to visit. I would always be chasing him around the house trying to get items out of his mouth. After one visit with Wil it was like he left me with a new puppy. Wil was so good with Draco even though he is nervous with strangers. Wil took his time and was patient.My husband was amazed when he came home from work to see the difference in him. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to Wil Lawson for his care a dedication to his clients (two and four legged). The experience so far has been excellent! Wil was very knowledgeable and patient. He offered lots of education and walked me through each step carefully with understanding and compassion for my situation. He also incorporated accommodations to fit the limitations I experience with permanent injuries in my hands.The immediate changes were astounding! I feel more connected and knowledgeable about how to interact with my dog in a manner that benefits us both. I feel like I have a different dog… the kind of dog I thought I would have! Fantastic and easy to follow training lessons. From day one of training, we saw a huge difference with our puppy. If you follow the simple training exercises and do what they ask of you the outcome is amazing. Wil made the training informative, fun and super easy to follow. We highly recommend Bark Busters.

All I can say is Wow. You have made such a change in our lives with your help training us humans to work with Loki. He is a changed dog and we are changed humans. Before reaching out to Bark Busters, I spent hours watching YouTube videos and reading training posts on how to correct his behavior and got very little results. My dog was getting fat with treats and was still misbehaving. He would just take the treat and go back to what he was doing. I feel like a proud parent showing off her child and how well behaved he is. We are still working on his training with you but in just these few weeks I have learned so much.For those that might find the cost is a bit high I have to disagree. Some trainers offer training by the hour and you have to buy x amount of sessions. With Bark Busters you don't need to worry about this. You get as many training sessions as needed. If the results are done in 15 minutes or in 45 minute a session is not relevant as you got the result you were looking for.I would highly recommend Will and Bark Busters. It has made a world of difference in our home.

Bill has been working with us for 6-7 weeks now. We saw a difference in our giant from the moment he left our assessment. Bill has an amazing way of reading a dogs body language to anticipate what they are going to do next.Our initial visit was about an hour, that was to see what Bill thinks and to see what the issues the dog has. In our case hes very dominate, a bully, stubborn, and believes he is the alpha over all. Bill told us all the little kinks about Bronson and how he can adjust them based on the Bark Busters philosophy. To be honest I was not too thrilled to do dog training in the first place. This is our 4th time giving it a whirl, one was to treat happy, one was too infrequent and one was way too aggressive and physical. We have spent thousands of dollars and i didn't want to spend anymore.WOW was i wrong!!! I wish we would have know about Bill from the beginning. He really does personalize EVERYTHING you train. EVERYTHING was solely geared towards Bronson (Our olde english bulldoggie) .Our next visit was the start of training where you make a commitment to be true to the program and train along with Bill, we learned all about how this training works and the science behind it. It really allows you to grasp what the next few weeks and months are going to be about. Then you work to working with Bronson one on one and making sure we are not confusing him. With in moment of starting Bronson was showing crazy change.- He wasn't crowding the door-He wasn't jumping up-He want humping :S- And he was staying right by me and no leaving my sideIt not a magic change of course but the tools once used properly work instantly. The next few weeks we practiced with Bron and noticed a few things we didnt know how to fix, we sent an email to Bill (who stays in constant contact with you) and he sent one back right away with what to try.Our second visit we worked near the dog park, with constant distraction and really putting Bronson in a situation that he would have been going nuts a few weeks prior.We are only a few weeks in to our life time commitment but I am so happy with all of it. I have even begun to read Bronson's body language myself, I kinda see where his head is at sometimes haha like if hes distracted or about to get really excited about something.I am enjoying the fact that our dog can be a playful loveable dog with an awesome personality, and can also be behaved and I can be incontrol.Thanks BILL!I would recommend to anyone who is sick of wasting their money and their time on treat filled training and prong collars--Rachel Nadalin

We were at our wit’s end with our 7 year old Jack Russell’s behaviour when visitors would come over. Thanks to Will we were given both the tools and the confidence to deal with the issue. We now have a much calmer and peaceful home thanks to Bark Busters!

Our trainer Bill was fantastic. In the course of three hours on our first visit we had learned more about our dog Sergeant and how to handle him than we did in 10 weeks of training. “Speaking dog” Is a real thing, ya’ gotta see it to believe it. The biggest take away however, was learning that I needed the training, and in learning what to do and how to behave my boy would fall in line. Still a work in progress but night and day to where we were Before we met Bill. The lifetime support adds a huge layer of comfort. Highly recommend Bark Busters!
