Niagara Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic

My grandma is to shy to review so I will leave the review for her since I’m the one who drove and sat around waiting for over an hour . Also to find out they had not prepared any information for her and we waited for an hour just to hear that they need her to come back another day

I was dropped by this clinic for missing appointments due to family emergencies out of my hands. It’s strange that the reminder system for appointments at my barber shop is better than the one at this “doctors office” I haven’t missed a haircut in years but apparently I missed 3 appointments at this clinic which is something I just don’t do. What is the point in getting a reminder call 1-2 weeks away from your appointment? Wouldn’t it make more sense to call and remind your patients a day or two before keeping it fresh in their minds? I find it very unprofessional th I was let go after almost 2 years of being a patient. To just drop patients is something that these so called doctors should not be allowed to do especially when the patient offers to pay for missed appointments. Dr. Surendran was the endocrinologist I’ve been with doing blood work and tests to see what has been going on with my blood work but before getting to the root of the issue I was rudely dropped by this office and told to find someone else. It amazes me that doctors are allowed to just give up on patients like this because of missed appointments that I said I’d pay for and make up. What do I do now? Start over from the beginning? This place is clearly not about helping people.

Dr. Gillian Mazzetti has been with me from the start, and it was because of her good judgment that my thyroid cancer was caught at an early stage. She always has the same professional and attentive attitude. She will even ask how life is outside of medical appointments, which I think says a lot about her character. When she originally diagnosed me 4 years ago, she was understanding of the fact that it was a lot for me to take in, and assisted me in breaking the hard news to my parents. She even offered to come in the office for me so we could talk about any concerns I may have. She referred me to an incredible surgeon in Hamilton and I am grateful to have them both looking after my care. Her receptionist Rebecca is also friendly and has gotten back to me with care over the phone. Rebecca will always address you by your name and give instruction with great detail. Thank you Dr. Mazzetti for all you’ve done for me and my family. Thank you to the staff and all you do to help us patients in receiving our healthcare.Kate Labelle

Dr.Delrue was great (actually more than great they saved my life). Sugars are under control again.

I had an appointment for the first time with Dr. Andrea Delrue. I am a diabetic on insulin. She issued me a prescription for glucagon and blood sugar testing supplies but no insulin (the most important thing a diabetic needs daily) when I specifically requested it at the end of the visit. She agreed to fill the insulin as well. I go to Walmart to fill it and no insulin. I called her office being a little annoyed and requested it to be filled. I'm told that I need to book another appointment. So here I have a diabetic doctor who can fill a prescription for insulin but will not until I see her again even though it is important for a diabetic to take insulin. I'm out the door to get my insulin prescription filled at a clinic because my diabetic doctor (the one that specializes in insulin therapy) refuses to fill it until I see her again. Sounds like she either does not have the best of my interest at heart or common sense.

I am pre diabetic and I got my family doctor referral to see them. The wait time for first appointment was 3 months but finally I got to see Dr. Siddiqui. She was really nice and provided me sound advice on symptoms to look out for. Also, she was helpful to educate me about lifestyle choices. I am really thankful to them for seeing me and guiding me
