0 Stars - Terrible company. Well, the PSW's are great but management sucks! Was a client for 4.5 years, then Covid hit and they dropped the ball. Sue Chisala the office manager is useless. Tanya McGill who was the area manager (before she was fired) yelled and screamed at me for 45 mins telling me she was going to personally se me evicted as according to her medical opinion" even though she is not legally entitled to make medical diagnoses that I am NOT disabled!!! She said she would take great pleasure in walking past me on the street and laughing as I begged for change. Complained to top-level management - I was told I was lying!!! Now they have all new CEO

As a new employee the orientation process and onboarding was wonderful. The management team, HR, leads and front line staff were so positive and welcoming. The company is organized and very collaborative. You can tell they have been working hard to improve systems and keep current in the ever adapting healthcare world. They have staff appreciation BBQ's and keep in regular communication with workers to say thank you for their hard work. The teams are really happy here and trying to make it a great place to work.

Worse than bad.My mother is 94 and she has dementia at a very late stage.Recently we were visited by two police officers that said that they received a call about my mom being abused - forced to eat, restricted movement and such. This happened the same day that we had a Nucleus supervisor visiting our premises during the evening shift. Among other things, that day we asked supervisor that mom's bed rail is expanded at all times to ensure she cannot get up from her bed and walk unattended - the rail was installed after she had numerous falls, one of which resulted in her being taken to hospital by emergency. The supervisor commented that they can not support this “confinement“ of the client. Confinement?? It just saves her from smashing her face against the floor and breaking her bones when falling! Also we asked that they make sure she eats every time, and the supervisor replied that attendants are not allowed to force her to eat if she refuses as they are respecting her wishes. Wishes?? She has dementia, she does not know whether she ate or whether she is hungry! In addition, we have requested many times that she is serviced by the same attendants every day. Instead, we see 7 new people per week, most of them do not even know she has dementia! They come and suggest her to eat, she says she does not want, and they just leave.Apart from a few professionals, many of the attendants have consistently displayed exceptionally inferior level of services. They refuse doing routine services like inserting or removing her dentures. A few times we found my mom sitting alone in the house, in the kitchen with her face inside the bowl with food as the attendant simply left her there alone after the attendant’s time ran out. They walk inside the house in street shoes, they give shower to my mom with her street shoes/hat/purse/winter coat still on! They are combing her hair in the kitchen, after which her hair is found all over kitchen including in food, throwing their dirty street bags on the kitchen table, placing my mom's bum towel on top of my toothbrush in the bathroom, sitting my mom with her bum dirty in poop on a clean face towel (that is nicely put back on the rails after this, with stains of poop on it) etc.A couple of times we have had an attendant who left all kitchen dirty in food, all bathroom dirty in poop, and my mom in a double diaper. The attendant did not remove the soiled diaper and instead just put on an additional diaper on top of the soiled diaper, in addition sticking some toilet paper into her bum. Little present huh!Majority of the attendants secure my mom while she is walking by holding her pants waistband or holding one her elbow. It is quite obvious that in case she starts falling there will be no way to catch her! Many attendants overuse house resources - for example they would use 1 roll of toilet paper + one roll of paper towels per day. Every day. They would open water running in the bathtub and leave it for 10-15 minutes, while doing other things in other areas of the house. No way to make them stop wasting stuff, they do not listen.A few times a week I get phone calls that attendants cannot find client in a one-floor bungalow or they cannot even open the door (the door has 2 locks and 2 keys are in the dropbox). All these and many other issues have been consistently reported to the Nucleus management, but they did nothing to help. Covering their lack of professionalism and reporting to police - this is all they are good at!Avoid them, they are truly below the line!!

You can tell that this company has really changed since new management has taken over. The work culture is positive and trying to make great changes for community healthcare. The organization is forward thinking and really trying to make an impact on quality care for the clients as well as working on building great teams.
