Reasonably priced. I happened upon the electronic section more recently. It's great! Lots of tiny parts for fun projects. Staff is always super helpful.

Attitude!!!Whatever happened to Home Hardware?100% unwilling to help me in anyway whatsoever other than looking up their own reference code to see if they have something in stock. They will not check products to see if they will work for a specific purposes. They’re not even busy in the store and the guy wants to do nothing but sit around and collect his paycheck. Pathetic.

The owner was extremely rude to me. He kicked me out of the electronics section well ahead of closing time by just turning off the light and yelling at me We're closed". He refused to help me when I said I just needed one specific thing I could just grab and go. On my way out I checked the clock and saw I did indeed have a few more minutes before closing time

Probably one of my favourite places to come search for electronic components. When I come I usually require a day off just so I can linger. The staff are always friendly. Theres an upstairs and downstairs. And just a reminder that during lock down there's no insyore shopping. You have to place your ahead of time and pick up only. The electronics is near the paint section in the basement. Head down the stairs to your right. Tools are upstairs back left. They have screens l, wires, downs. Just about everything but the kitchen sink. I'm certain I've never seen as many resistors and fuses In my life. If I can call these supplies are stocked for the University of Toronto. So, doing some quick calculations they have roughly 4922 small storage compartments to search through but there definitely more. They have some batteries and components for RC vehicles. You name it they most likely have it.It's not the most high tech Home Hardware on the neighborhood but beggars can't be choosers. It's got just about everything you could need in a central location. One trick I didn't know about for some time, was in the tools and screws section. They have sliding racks and behind those racks is another selection of more tools. They can cut keys, as well as chains, steel poles and bars to any length.

Cool place despite the stodgy appearance. Surprisingly good for electronic kit lovers (Arduino) and many hard to find parts. Also surprisingly large selection of items. A lot bigger inside than you would think as has 2 floors.

I'm a long time customer here, but I hate their return policies. I bought a $100 hand cart, which was final sale. The problem is, is that you can't see what it looks like until you take it out of the package and can't return it once you do. So I took a risk and found out that the cart won't work for what I needed it for, so now I have to buy another new one.

Don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but the already middle of the road experience of shopping here was tarnished due to a rude employee, will likely never return to this location despite it being conveniently located.Products are priced on the very high end of reasonable, and stock is all over the place. The store is not very well organized and finding things can be difficult as a customer. All of this can be acceptable IF the following issue wasn't the case:Some staff are quiet helpful and friendly while others leave MUCH to be desired. Very disappointing spectrum here on the quality of service.Highlight of the experience was getting harassed by a younger employee about customers having to track prices of certain products before coming to the cash. An honest mistake, and a requirement which no other employee had mentioned. Instead of just acknowledging the error or helping rectify it, he rudely kept condescending about store rules and rubbing it in like it was the end of the world. Suffice to say he didn't make the sale...didn't purchase anything due to this rude character and happily took my business elsewhere to competitors in the neighbourhood. If it isn't something supplied exclusively at this store it's better to visit other locations on Bloor or in Liberty village where staff are not just superbly knowledgeable, but also very friendly and personable.Despite the variety and selection of products of this location it is a place to avoid. They will have to really impress me if I'm ever desperate enough to return and spend another penny here.

This place is the best, they have the regular home hardware stuff but in their basement there's a section where you can find circuit boards and components, was able to find a specific capacitor /resistor to fix my old bmw. I could buy a new car and shop at home depot, but this is way better.

I do NOT recommend buying the sealed lead-acid batteries at this location. Quality is not always good, some I've bought were ok, but a couple others seem to have been sitting on the shelf way too long and were degraded. They had a low voltage to start with, wouldn't charge fully and were basically useless, yet couldn't be returned or exchanged due to store policy I had assumed the batteries were new and in top condition but that is not the case.
