Perhaps we were unfortunate, but I found the owner (?) condescending, rude and disinterested. He was not interested in the special need we had with one of our dogs, a need that is not exceptional I believe. I would never reserve again and would pass on my experience to anyone who wished to hear about it.

Excellent spot for dogs. We left our girl there for a weeks vacation and she had a great time. Love seeing the picture posted every day. Highly recommend and will definitely book again.

My most heartfelt thanks to you David and your staff. My dog came weekly for runs with the pack and vacations when I was away. She would wiggle with excitement as we turned onto your road and was happy happy happy when I released her from the back seat as you held the kennel door for her. It was a gift to me to have your resort to bring her to. I love the way you are with the dogs and that they come first. Please also pass along my thanks to your Dad who shared much training wisdom with me and she was a better dog for his advice. If there is a doggy heaven, I hope there is a Sly resort there! For years we've been sending our dog here every time we go away. It truly is a resort for her. She loves it, and I love looking at the pictures posted to Facebook of her running and playing with the other dogs.I trust them to always take great care of her and have never had any issues. Highly recommend!

Easy to make a reservation for my dog. Quick and easy drop off and pick up. I love the fact they post pictures on their Facebook page and you can see how much your dog enjoyed their stay. I find their price is very good as well.

We have boarded are extremely active and mischievous foxhound Norman here many times. Dave and the group have always been incredible and accommodating. Facility and care wise they are by far the best spot in the area!

Had my dog here for a long period of time and the staff, work and overall environment is great. Very friendly and easy to talk to. 10/10 would recommend this place

* EXPENSIVE MEDICATED DOG FOOD THROWN AWAY" BY OWNER * I worry it has been given to other dogs over the last 3 monthsI am sad to be writing this review as I know my dog loved his daycare days here

Always great care for my two dogs, they are kind and take great care for the dogs. The kennel is clean, with heat/ac, and each kennel inside is very large. The yard is absolutely awesome and has a small pond for the dogs to swim in. As a bonus they often take pictures of the dogs, which is great. Don't mind the one star rating, this has NOTHING to do with the kennel, but a personal comment one of the persons who used to run the place and doesn't anymore, and is completely unrelated to the great service provided here. The business here doesn't deserve the slander.

Thousand Islands Dog Resort
We have taken our dogs to Dave Senior and Dave Junior for the last 19 years. All we have to do is open the car door and crate and the dogs are wagging and champing at the bit to be out in the fields. The staff has listened to our concerns when we knew we were leaving for an extended time and reassured us with caring and good humour. All of our travel is organized around whether Dave can care for our dog. Keep up the good work!
