The Great Canadian Bagel
Great selection of oven baked (not wood fire Montreal style) bagels in a wide variety of flavors. The cheddar Swiss bagel and jalapeno cheddar are both must trys! The sandwiches were delicious and were toasted so perfectly, great crunch on the exterior.Although my preference usually leans toward Montreal style wood fired bagels, these were a great tasting and more fluffy alternative! Tons of options to choose from and every bagel we had was great in its own way!Turkey Bacon club sandwich on sourdough bagel (4.5/5) - The bagel was fresh and simple, yet had amazing texture and crunchy bubbling on the exterior. The toppings were nice and fresh but could have been more generous on the bacon.

Decided to make a special trip to check it out, since it's been several years since I've been here. Very big disappointment. I was expecting a wide variety of bagels to choose from, but I was lucky if they had 5 kinds. Nothing I was particularly interested, other than the jalapeno one. The herb and garlic cream cheese was way too garlicy". I couldn't eat it. The bagel itself

I had the turkey club on a garlic bagel, which was very good. They have a good variety of bagels and prices are pretty reasonable. Looks like they could use more staff on a Sunday, they only had two people working and it was pretty busy, but maybe someone had called in sick.

amazing bagels. Love the sesame & poppy seeds bagels. Very fresh & tasty! As a newcomer to Canada this is one of the best things I've had till now.

Super friendly staff and even better food here! The guy taking our order and making our food was super friendly. After we placed our order I felt pretty nauseous probably because I didn't eat or have water all morning so I had to sit down because I felt like I was gonna pass out/throw up. Told my fiancé to get me a water so she had the line up again. The super kind staff member from the back noticed this and let my fiancé cut the line to pay for the water I wad already drinking. 10/10 would reccomend this place.

I have been coming here for over 6 months, and the experience has been pleasant up until 4 weeks ago. I usually call to find out if they have the bagels, and sandwich choices available beforehand. A family favourite, smoked salmon and cream cheese has been unavailable for what seems like months. The several times I have called to speak to a store worker to ask if they have that particular bagel, I’m met with a cold response of “no we don’t” and then proceeds to hang up. Before I can ask if there’s an update as to when the smoked salmon will return, they’ve already hung up. The phone etiquette that these store workers display is frankly rude, and unprofessional. I hope that the owner will address his store workers on how to properly display professionalism over the phone, and the smoked salmon makes it’s return.

The Great Canadian Bagel
The best fresh soft bagels with the perfect crunchy exterior covered in a plentiful amount of toppings. You know it’s good when they almost sell out before closing each day. The staff are extremely personable and kind and add that extra bit of care while preparing your food. They also offer a large variety of flavoured cream cheeses prepared in house with the addition of seasonal flavours (like pumpkin spice in the fall).

I love the bagels. Dropping in and hoping for a full selection is a bad idea. They make them BY HAND and they’re popular. They don’t get shipped in on a truck with an endless supply in the back room. Order online and rest assured that your order will be fulfilled. I’m only leaving a review because the owners responses make me laugh. It’s so refreshing to see an owner actually respond honestly to people leaving bad reviews and not just kissing up to them.
