One of the most welcoming family restaurant we have ever been to. The waitress even took the time to help my shy daughter order her own meal. And, don't even get me started on how delicious the food was! If you are in Sault Ste Marie, you have to visit this restaurant!

It was a very enjoyable experience !!My father had the smelt dinner and I had the french onion soup and shrimp penne with garlic sauce. Rosie was very attentive and friendly she was at our table 2 or 3 times to make sure everything was OK. We will definitely be enjoying Ginos againwhen we go back to Sault ste Marie!!!

We got there at noon and didn't get our food until 50 minutes after we ordered. However, when we got it, food was very good. Just make sure you have the time. I did notice two big group tables of 10+ people that may have slowed service down.

Both the Gnocchi and ravioli are to die for! We were seated right away. The atmosphere and staff are outstanding!! Unfortunately they were out of the bananas Foster cheesecake but we settled on the chocolate cake. It was also delicious. As a resident of Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie you don't know how good you got it!! Will definitely be back again!!

I've now had dinner and breakfast here and I'm very happy with the meals and the service. The eggs benedict was fantastic and the size of the veal was insane. Pricing is average for this kind of restaurant and the Atmosphere is nice. I will be happy to eat here again the next time I'm in town.

March 2023 - We visited on a Saturday for lunch arriving around 1 pm. We were greeted by cheerful staff and quickly escorted to our table. The updated atmosphere is a bit rustic with a huge fireplace filling almost an entire wall, but also modern with many neon signs, a few large-screen TV’s, and comical artwork.Our server was Rhonda, and she was pleasant, prompt, knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing.The food was quite good. I enjoyed a lunch-size portion of ravioli with Gino’s sauce, and 2 meatballs. I was happily surprised to see that it also came with 2 pieces of garlic bread made from crusty Vienna bread that is baked in-house.My rating is intended to be 4 1/2 stars. It would have been 5 stars if the ravioli had been stuffed with a bit more meat and if the meatballs had been a little larger (I wanted more!).Gino’s has been one of our favorite restaurants in town, and the renovations, larger menu, and friendly staff ensure that it will continue to be for some time.

Worst breakfast in all of town hands down! Bacon ( double order ) crumbled to sand..so burnt, over easy eggs totally overcooked, homemade sausage patty ( tiny ) pink and bland, not edible. This pic is how breakfast was served to me. Unbelievable. Just disgusting. No sides, Miserable hosts to boot. Too bad, very nice reno. Server was very nice though.

Server kinda left us hanging after bringing our meal. Drinks never got refilled. Food was pretty cold when served. Seems like it could be a great place, going to chalk it up to growing pains. Super fun decor and great menu!!

The new Reno looks amazing! We went on a very busy Friday but we're still very pleased with the food and service!Best garlic bread in town! Whole cloves of roasted garlic!
