Great customer service. Made a purchase online for a shoulder brace. Realized that I chose the free shipping but I wanted to come a little bit quicker. When I called them, asking them if I could pay the extra for the shipping cost they thanked me for my service, and did not charge me. Extremely satisfied, and will absolutely purchase from them again in the future if necessary.

On a Sunday, I ordered a CMC Push brace (I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the CMC joint) online from OrthoMed. I selected standard shipping. Late Thursday morning that same week, the brace arrived! I followed the fitting instructions and immediately put it on. It took me a couple days to get used to the fact that movements/activities that used to cause me pain no longer did. My pain has been lessened by about 95%, and I have about 97% pain-free full-strength function of my hand again.I had suffered in silence for years, but waited until I began to have difficulty with activities of daily living before seeking medical attention. I was prescribed cortisone injections (both hands are affected), but three days after my first injection, I was getting a lot of movement and rubbing in that CMC joint and it was quite painful. I went online and searched my diagnosis and learned about the braces available. Although there was a less expensive, similar brace available also, I noted that someone had commented that it's configuration wasn't quite the same as the Push brace and that as a result, it interfered with some movements. Because this was my dominant hand, I chose the Push brace. I have absolutely no regrets.Minor, but still important: it comes in an aesthetically-pleasing muted plum and grey.

I have had 3 major surgeries in the past 2 years and purchased the Breg Polar Care Wave - Cold Therapy and Compression device for my most recent recovery. The only regret I have is not knowing about this sooner. It has been an absolute game changer for pain management. I have a long recovery ahead so I'm very pleased that I decided to buy this unit vs.renting as it continues to assist me throughout my rehabilitation journey. They have truly gone above and beyond to help make a challenging situation a little more manageable. So I sent an email to see if I could buy a replacement part for my unloader brace. Not only did they reply promptly, but the made me aware that my brace had warantee and that if I brought it to the right place,(which they provided names and addresses for) it would be covered. Not sure how long ago I purchased this unloader brace maybe 8 years or so ago, but happy that I emailed them. Staff was pleasant to deal with.I am still in the process of waiting for the replacement but I've only brought it in a week ago. Definately worth it..Thanks again!
