Joshua Creek Tennis

Great Tennis Club for players all of levels. Coaches are friendly and approachable, courts are always in excellent condition and the Club Pro (Gloria Liang) is one of the best coaches you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. We have been members at Joshua Creek Tennis for the past 3 years and my son has improved so much thanks to Gloria, Steve and Daniel who have each helped him in all areas of his junior tennis development.

This is an add-on to my below review, as I have just recently been informed that Steve will no longer be with the club after the end of April. In my eyes Joshua Creek Tennis has made a BAD business decision in parting ways with Steve. He is the only reason why myself and many others continued to sign up for lessons, year after year. With his departure Joshua Creek Tennis is losing their best coach and most likely many clients will follow him wherever he goes. I am disappointed that the club didn't do anything to stop this from happening and so this becomes one of those times when leaving is the right choice for the right reasons.I started taking lessons about 6 years ago and was fortunate enough to have had Steve as my coach. He was able to improve my game within the first few months, as I hadn't played for the past decade. All his lessons are well thought out beforehand and he has the ability to actually observe and see the mistakes you are making that other coaches would completely miss. He then takes the time to come up with a tailored solution on how to fix the problems. I really appreciate the fact that he is able to meticulously explain the proper technique specifically for you so that you can replicate and remember. I did take a couple years off when he moved into a management position with the club (as he was no longer coaching), but I immediately joined again when I found out he was back to offering lessons. Overall, he is a phenomenal tennis coach, and most importantly a great person. This club is very lucky to have someone like Steve!

Very disappointing! We’ve joined the kids high performance program last winter. My child even said it was wasting his time and my money. Program is not cheap $1800+ and it’s 2x a week. Although they said ratio is 1:6. Often turned into 1:8. The instructors does not do much drilling. Often they were on their phone or on the side talking. There’s no feeding balls or doing drills. Most of the time they asked the kids to play games on their own. Summer was great. You can see they have a good system. Each court does different thing with different instructor. Probably because parents were watching outside the court. I would not put my child to their winter high performance program. Save the money for private instruction instead .I say only Jason is the only instructor that care at this club! High five to Jason!

Had a great experience playing tennis here. Front desk staff are warm and accommodating, lounge and court are well maintained and comfortable. Our coach Steve has especially been outstanding. His lessons are fun and engaging and time just flies by every lesson. He is great at analyzing shots and providing adivce tailored to each of his student. He's helped me break through multiple bottlenecks that have been limiting me in the past. Definitely looking forward to having more lessons from him!

I love this place! The courts are fantastic, but what really makes this place special are the coaches. I’ve had the pleasure of working with both Steve and Jade who have shown genuine interest and dedication towards the development of their players. Steve’s coaching is phenomenal. His ability to break down complex concepts and techniques truly makes you believe “this guy was born to be a tennis coach”.

Joshua Creek Tennis is a great facility to play tennis all year round. The coaching staff is very skilled & friendly, & the administration staff is extremely helpful & attentive. The Director of Tennis Victor Hoang and his entire team run a great facility. The admins Lilly & Paris have helped me on numerous occasions & have made my experience here great. I will continue to come back & recommend Joshua Creek to friends & family.

Courts are well maintained. The coaches are passionate about tennis and dedicated to seeing their students improve. Steve is a very effective coach for young kids, beginners and more advanced players and will tailor lessons based on the needs of the players and target areas for improvement. Classes are engaging and fun, with tactic and game situation-based drills rather than constant basket feeding.The environment is fun and friendly and there are lots of different lesson and membership options available for all ages and skill levels.Opportunities for improvement: The gravel parking lot could use some love to repair the bumps. There are no court lights for the spring and summer outdoor sessions when the dome is down, so the courts are only available until sundown.

Admin staff are great. Very accommodating and adjusts well to my needs.Lily is spectacular. Always smiling and eager to help.Courts and nets are in good shape. A bit crowded as covid has limited people's sporting options.Absolutely no extras and pro shop is basic but acceptable.Great value!

I recently started taking adult lessons here and I couldn’t be more pleased. Steve is an awesome coach, with a positive lighthearted nature and the patience to take us from never holding a racket to rallying in just 4 weeks. Our whole group is already registering for Spring session because we’ve enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend!

Joshua Creek Driving Range is still Mat's only. The guy said maybe next week they'll open up the grass. Putting and chipping green is also still closed
