Aurora Farm

I love bringing the kids out to see the chickens, goats, alpacas and horses. They're very friendly and welcoming here, and have a little shop with homemade wares.

I was quite disappointed as this place came up as a petting zoo; but we couldn't pet any of the animals as they were in cages or behind gates. We couldn't even get close to the horses as they were all in the barn and there was a huge field between us. Personally I wouldn't go there if you're looking for a petting zoo. One hour tour of this place is not worth it in my opinion, since there was no opportunity to mingle with animals and actually get close to them and pet them. We didn't even stay more than 20 min there and the only animal we could touch was one cat that kept following us and that was the highlight of the day.

A beautiful opportunity for the whole family to get close to a working farm with friendly goats, alpacas, sheep, horses, donkey and a friendly Scottish longhair. Stop into the shop for seasonal gelato and a variety of handmade goods.

Our son attended two weeks of Aurora Farm Day Camp and absolutely loved it. Serena, the horse riding coach and head camp counsellor, was amazing. Getting to do farm chores, learning about caring for goats, horses, and Alpacas, as well as receiving horseback riding lessons... All this, among other wonderful outdoor activities, is such a unique experience. He'll definitely be back next summer!Also, the animals were all very well loved and well cared for. All the staff and volunteers clearly care about the welfare of the animals and give them their best. Happy to visit when the farm is able to re-open to the public! <3

Goat yoga was so fun!!!! It was more so alpaca yoga but I was just as happy. One of the brown alpacas is so friendly he snuggled up right into me. Baby alpaca so cute too. Good yoga instructor, cute store.

Such a wonderful place to visit! They have open farm hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Had a great time doing my first yoga class...with Alpacas and goats! Can't wait to do that in spring with the wee baby goats!

Great farm with a nice selection of goat milk based soaps. The eggs are also amazing! Hoping I can try the cute baby goat yoga some day, my kids love visiting the goats and cats. In the summer there is a nice selection of veggies and in the fall there are lots of canned goods available.I love that they carry goods from other local farms/crafts people from time to time.The location, barely outside of the city, makes a weekend visit super convenient too!
