Installation took 5 days instead of 3 as promissed, I had to stain part of the floor myself, and after 10 months, I am still waiting for a 2 feet transition piece that I will also have to install myself. They asked me to pay for an unfinished service, and since them the store ignores me. I went back, not to ask for a free transition, but to buy one; they sold me the wrong one are refusing to replace it. Very disappointed and stressful situation. I don't recomend them.

I would love to give hardwood Giant a 5 star review, like I had originally, but I can't in good conscience do that any longer. We hired Hardwood Giant to install hardwood floors throughout our home in the summer of 2021. Everything was great at first. We loved the service, the work was good and the staff were great. Things took longer than expected, but being in the middle of covid that was not overly shocking.Near the end of the project, we started to notice work quality decrease. We had paid to have the stairs to our basement changed, and they forgot about them. They came back and did the work, so no harm done. With the Job complete I left a review - that review was a 5-star review despite some small problems we had. We weren't happy with the trim work, but this isn't their main business so we didn't want to detract from the flooring work they did - but we did feel it was important to be truthful in our review so I included some criticism of it in my review. We even had their lawn sign on our lawn for months because we appreciated the work done.Yesterday I reached out to Brian because we noticed a couple issues - our handrail on our second floor is out-of-level, and our basement stairs are fading after less than a year. What a great choice we made dealing with Brian and Sharon at Hardwood Giant! They provided a very helpful and knowledgeable service in choosing the correct flooring for our home, and a very professional installation made our experience worry free and completed in a timely manner. We would recommend their company / service to anyone!

Over promised, under delivered. This would be a 0 star if that was even possible.Overall RecommendationWe are happy with the floor and happy to finally be able to enjoy it (6 WEEKS LATER). We are not happy with the service, as it was terrible communication, abysmal organization of time and overall a bad experience. We would not recommend this company at all.Intro and SalesAlyssa was amazing to deal with in store, and through email. Was very prompt in responding within 1 business day, and I would deal with Alyssa again if the opportunity arose.Brian (Owner) came by about 2 weeks before the installation date, and took exact measurements. He mentioned the job would take about 1/2 a day to at most a full day" and left.Week 1 - Day 1The nosing arrived broken and unstained. They had to re-order the nosing to replace the broken piece.The installers were able to pull up the old carpet without issue

Great services and quality. The measure was accurate by Brian. Kate and Sharon were very responsive. The installation was very good quality. The price was good. The billing structure is quite flexible: 30% deposit when placing the order and remaining balance when the job is complete. Please be aware there is a re-stocking fee if you change your mind after you put down your deposit. Overall, I was very happy about their services.
