Andrew is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I have been doing customized audio training with him for a few years now and I really appreciate his openness to many different styles of music, including my own (mixed media / acousmatic). A patient and generous teacher, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their audio production skills.

I did levels 1-4 of Precursor's Audio Production course and it completely exceeded my expectations. Andrew is passionate about his craft and is a devoted teacher, and I came out of that program with a completely new appreciation for and understanding of audio and music. Big thanks to Andrew and his team for putting together such a wonderful space. Highly recommended!

I took the Level 1 Production and Music Composition courses and really liked what I learned. It is all very applicable and taught me how to organize music both in my head and on a DAW. They also taught me production on my DAW of choice. I recommend their courses a lot. I also value how much Paul and Andrew take continuing education for themselves seriously. Andrew and his team are simply the cream of the crop. I think its safe to say that Andrew is a master of his craft. His work is top notch and he is incredibly professional. For his courses, his teaching is well rounded and sound and really does teach the way professionals work. All in all, 5 stars and 100% recommend Precursor Productions.

If I could, I would give 6 stars. Andrew and Paul were simply amazing. They give 100% to make sure you will learn the best. Their knowledge is gigantic and they make sure to teach you all the details.Also to mention that the studio is DOPE. It feels so good to be inside such an organized and clean place. I had such a good experience on the first level and I cannot wait for the next ones.

The folks are Precursor are consummate professionals when it comes to recording. You can tell they really care about making each and every project the best that it can be, and supporting talent as needed. One of my favourite places in Winnipeg. Andrew is extremely dedicated and skilled in his craft, not to mention an experienced instructor and an excellent host. Great memories of Precursor Halloween parties, playing table tennis, watching movies, I had the privilege to volunteer at the studio and would recommend Precursor Productions to anyone looking to improve their digital music production skills, artists looking for professional mixing and mastering, film and television producers looking for sound editing, Precursor does all of that and more... highly recommended!

Andrew and his staff were crucial to the education that lead me to my current work in the music industry. Andrew has also had a significant role in my own personal projects as well as client projects which I have brought through after completing my education. It truly became a precursor for my successes. I would highly recommend the training (which was customized to fit my schedule) and would encourage you to drop in to see the facilities and catch some students!
