I went here to try and fix my sons Axial Offroad truck. Even though they don’t sell Axial brand they still helped me diagnose the problem and even had a replacement part that would work. Very friendly and helpful. They even carry upgraded parts for the axial trucks. So I got some new wheels and tires too!

Went in a few times the guy was super helpful and nice. Just went in yesterday to buy a JDM 1/10 scale body and the sales guy helped me get started and gave me great knowledge and spent time with me to make sure I took right steps in prepping and painting. I bought a Toyota Chaser and it looks beautiful

Went in knowing very little about Mini-Z. The folks inside were happy to help with my selection, give their tips, and even let me rip one of their cars around on their track! After my purchase, they encouraged me to open and set it up instore so they could help with any questions. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

1 star is one to many . Guy doesn’t know his product ! Will never go there again Ever . Bought a car and upgrades . Items where forgotten drive back out was sold another upgrade to make previous upgrades work . Got home it needed special part that were supposed to be included in the second upgrade where not . Would have bought whatever was needed when I was in the shop . I asked if that was all I needed to complete the build . He said yes … it wasn’t …. He doesn’t know his own product . This place is why rc racers go to the internet .

Riding electric skateboard was great (it still is) but I wanted to get into R/C hobbies again. I used to own Tamiya branded Subaru Rally car back in my youth and I accidentally broke it at the playground and I missed having one when moved to Canada so I started searching for places to start with cheaper R/C cars and get 1/10 scale one later so found Maple Hobbies. I started following them on social media and when they posted photo of Kyosho Mini-Zs that were available, I reached out to them to grab one of those after researching about the Mini-Zs. I ended up purchasing 3 of My First Mini-Zs and at first, I thought they were cool that small scale R/C cars were made but I wanted to get Tamiya branded 1/10 scaled car again and didn't know where to start. When I followed Tamiya on social media page and I got excited when they announced TT-02 Evo V kit that would soon be released. I reached out to Maple Hobbies staff once again and asked them about the prices for the kit and since I didn't have time to assemble it myself, I requested them to build me one. They were very respectful and responded to every question I threw at them at anytime (I felt bad when I messaged them at super late) and asked me if I wanted to reserve one and I said of course! I waited awhile and they messaged me to let me know that the kit arrived to their shop and that they would start the assembly process after discussing with them which colour I wanted and such. They sent me every single photos of process and after when it was done. Maple Hobbies is incredible and I'll be forever shopping there from now on. The car they built for me was amazingly well done and I loved the every single details on it. I can't wait to test the car when I order battery packs for the remote controller. Thank you guys!!!

Went in to get an upgraded 11.1 battery charger. Told they had none in stock by one guy, then told by other guy the only ones they had were ‘too expensive’ (they were around $100 - so that makes no sense) Apparently only interested in serving ‘certain’ customers. Negative experience.Went to RC Pitstop instead in Langley and they were great.

Came in with limited prior knowledge of RC and the staff kindly helped me pick stuff to get started and even showed me how it all works. I appreciated the time they took to make sure that I didn't leave unsure about assembling my first kit. Definitely also cool to see some Mini-Z RCs and Tamiya kits aswell as a small indoor track they've got.

Didn't know there was a hobby store here. Will definitely be supporting them and buying my parts from here. Nice selection and awesome mini z track inside.

Been going there since they first opened. Friendly staff, very knowledgeable on RC products and tuning!With a Mini Z track at the store, this place is also great for practicing and tuning your Kyosho Mini Z!
