We ordered Bento Box take out for two people and when my husband got home he told me it was $71.08! I was so shocked. I realized we were ordering off an old menu, so looked up the prices on their website. Sure enough, the prices have gone up 30%! There was a discrepancy with the price between my husbands order and the website of $1 plus tax. So if we were charged correctly it would still have been $69 and change.The salads that used to be included were not there. Not only that, but my sushi did not come with wasabi and ginger.When we called we were told that salads were no longer included (even though they show as included on the website) and that we could be refunded the $1 difference (I guess we weren’t getting our tax back). I said never mind, lesson learned and we will not be back.The food is good but certainly not worth the price.

We visited YoYo Sushi in Georgetown for Father’s Day and reserved one of the cozy, private rooms for 4 of us. Their online reservation system is easy to use and superior to any other system I’ve seen. It even sends you a reminder the day of your reservation!We have dined there several times and are never disappointed! The taste and presentation of the food is always amazing and the ambiance offers an authentic experience. The servers wear kimonos and the dishes and teapots add to the look and feel of the restaurant.For this visit, they had the front door open which provided a fresh breeze and enhanced air circulation as we emerge from the pandemic. The food was served quickly after ordering and we all enjoyed the variety of flavours offered in the Bento Box dinners and sushi platters.The staff are efficient and friendly and we always have a great experience! We would definitely recommend YoYo Sushi for their excellent food, ambiance, and service! :)

We aren't usually in Georgetown and really didn't have high expectations for this place. It's very modest looking from the road in a non descript strip mall. When you walk into the restaurant is was clean, friendly, and calm. They have neat booths set up for most tables which is a nice touch. The service was very friendly and efficient but the food was amazing. Such great quality ingredients and flavours. I would certainly return if I was in the neighborhood.

Small sushi restaurant full of character and charm. Love their special rolls, and the miso is always hot and flavourful. Edamame is always fresh and nicely salted as well.

This is now the third time i've called to order sushi from this place and they've advised they're closed. Even though they're posted closing time isn't for another hour.The food is good but the service is lacking.I'll be going to Kyoto from now on. They actually respect the closing times they post for their customers.

TLDR perfect quality sushi. Cute but dirty dinning room. Service could be kinder and more welcoming.I ordered sushi lunch on a Tuesday at 130 pm. I waited maybe 6 minutes for my main to arrive. Sushi lunch was 24.99 and included soup or salad and 5 pieces of salmon 4 pieces of tuna and one salmon maki roll.Atmosphere. They have traditional Japanese fixtures and architecture inside. The personal private booths with parchment windows was very unique and a nice cozy touch. I only wish they were more clean as the walls had splatters of sauce and other random stains. The seats were comfortable but felt sticky or unwashed. Same goes for the menus.Food. The salad was small but had beautifully julienned pickled radish and carrots topped with a home made mandarin house sauce. The lettuce was romaine and extremely fresh and crispy. Like wow.The rice for both the maki and sushi was the correct temperature and consistency. Perfectly executed.The maki was thick and had more fish to rice in the ratio which is always a welcome sign. The sesame seeds on the maki were toasted or seasoned because they tasted very strong and delightful.The sushi was in the style of long and draping over the edge. On the thinner side but that didn't matter because the quality and freshness was among the best I've ever had.The salmon was well marbled and melted in my mouth. Firm to the bite but yielding in a velvety texture.The tuna was clearly belly cuts. Rich and dark red. I found myself not applying soya sauce or wasabi after the first because it was unnecessary.As for the soya sauce it was high sodium and likely homemade.Overall I think this places food was perfect. And if they spent some time cleaning up a bit and improving the mood of the server. Than it would be on a wait list to dine in.Well done team yoyo

A fantastic experience. The atmosphere and food were incredible. I highly recommend this place if you're I the mood for sushi or any other Japanese meal.The small private rooms / booths are definitely the way to go!I strongly recommend this place for date night.

Sweet little sushi restaurant in Georgetown. We made reservations on a Sat night but didn’t need to since it wasn’t busy at all. (Hmm, why?)Good food and nice portions. It was overall ok.Server could have/should have used a tray to bring and serve food to our table. Seeing her hands all over our plates, bowls and cups was a turn off.

Best sushi in georgetown!Staff was very friendly and extremely welcoming. The food was superb with beautiful presentation!My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here at Yoyo Japanese Restauraunt.We look forward to our next visit! Keep up the great work!

Amazing and delicious Japanese food. Went during lunch hours, fairly empty to dine in. Made a reservation regardless, on their website. After ordering, food was served to us pretty quickly, I would say within 10 - 15 mins. And all the dishes came out together. Quick service, decent pricing and tasty food. Would recommend.
