We recently had Creative Design install a custom hand rail in our home. We were extremely impressed with the quality of work and the look. We were also very happy with the time it took from calling them to the time it was installed. We would definitely recommend Creative Design.

His team that came in a few weeks later to install were just the same. They designed and installed our railing with ease and it looks stunning! We recently decided to do some home renovations so we looked up Creative Design Stairs & Railing in Orillia. We spoke with the owner, Dean, who was very helpful so we went to the showroom the next day. We met with Mike, who is very experienced and knowledgeable, and he helped us choose the best railing system for our home. As well, Mike gave us a very fair quotation for the materials and installation and he answered all of our questions and clearly informed us of the payments. Once we signed back the quotation, we were immediately given an installation date that worked within our renovation schedule.On the day of the installation, Vince was on time, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He worked efficiently and took his time to install the railing with precision and meticulous attention to every detail as well as the cleanup! We didn’t have to do anything except move the furniture back!We chose CDSR based upon their many excellent and positive reviews and that they have been a successful, family run business for over 30 years. Years ago, Dean from CDSR in Orillia meticulously made adjustments to the staircase railing at the family cottage. Because of his work, I knew this was the company I wanted to use to transform my front entrance from an eyesore into fabulous. Tom created a masterpiece with skill and precision. I can't recommend him enough. From start to finish, my experiences with the staff were excellent. Jessica helped in the showroom to clearly explain our options. Quotes were completed promptly. After demolishing our old board and drywall railing ourselves, Dean came by to make suggestions and take measurements. His recommendations were noted and followed through with by Tom during the assembly. After two days, I had the entrance I have always wanted. Billing was fair and Kurt adjusted according to materials used. You will not be disappointed with CDSR being your choice for railings. They care about excellent customer service!

Note to the consumer: I do recommend a visit to the showroom because getting what you want via text can be overwhelming and confusing. They have all kinds of choices with mix and match options in a variety of price points. I couldn't be happier with the new railing that is safe, functional and most importantly gorgeous!! I highly recommend them.

Looks great at a quick glance. Don't let this fool you! Terrible workmanship. Barely above builder quality (or rather the lack of). Nothing fits together properly, squeaks as much as builder grade would, and looks like a five year old measured, cut, and assembled everything. Definitely not worth the insanely overpriced amounts they're charging.

So pleased with the craftsmanship and the professionalism of the staff. All of them are aproachable and eager to help the best way they can in creating the design you are aiming to achieve without breaking the bank.We couldn't be more thrilled with the stairs and the railing is absolutely perfect!!!!Thank you Mike, Kurt, Vince and Dean for all your time and effort and everyone behind the scene we didn't get to meet!!!I highly recommend you won't be disappointed!!!!

This family run business is exceptional. Every member was courteous, efficient & patient in dealing with our questions & changes we made throughout the process. The result is beautifully designed and installed railings, guards and stairs where it was a challenge in many ways. Thank you to a great Team of professionals.
