Great place for group outings. Not too far from Calgary. A little bit of a delay for tickets but worth it overall.

It's worth the road from EdmontonStaff was awesome , very clean, and organized grounds.You have a bit of walking, and the seats are not comfortable . I saw after they had pads for your 5 that was only issueMy daughter loved it, and we all went a few timesI am coming back and defiantly getting a poutine

The attention at Canyon was amazing, the food was delicious and everyone talked about it for days ❤️ they all were so caring and made us feel so special in our day. Love you guys, I will pick you a thousand times

Coaster takes 80 minutes from ticket booth back to ticket booth. Around 60 seconds of that is spent on the actual coaster going down. The rest is spent standing in lines waiting or being dragged up the T-bar line to get off. It's a fun ride, but the wait times need to be Improved, buying a time slot is not effective as ours was for 11:30am but didn't get on until 12:30.Please add some tents to cover people standing in line or fans as it becomes uncomfortable for anyone standing out in the elements like direct sun. Everything on location reflects the heat back so you feel like your being cooked alive.Parking lot needs an attendee or some form of organization . People seem to forget how a parking lot works and just leave their cars wherever so the only road in and out was blocked forcing vehicles to make a new road.Staff were fine in our opinion. All younger kids doing summer work, making minimum wage.From a cost perspective. It's expensive but worth experiencing once and move on.

Robyn and the team at Canyon Ski Resort were more than accommodating to our wedding that we had on July 3rd. Not only was her team incredibly professional, they were able to work alongside us to make sure the day went by perfect, even with the ever changing COVID restrictions. The food was incredible (Would highly recommend the Swine and Dine option) the staff and bartenders were friendly, and the venue was kept in amazing order for all our needs.Could not be happier with our venue choice and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a mountain style getaway" for their wedding!"

We went here to try out their newly opened Canyon Coaster.After you see the sign Canyon Ski Resort, you have to turn left and drive until you arrived at the parking lot. You can buy tickets ahead of time online or you can buy there too. Price for one ride i'd say is pretty steep. Kids ages 3-5 are free. Its also a good idea to go to the washroom first before heading towards the coaster itself as it is a 7-8 minute walk going there from the ticketing booth.It was mostly trees on the way down and not much to see. They also take pictures of you on the ride so make sure you are picture ready. You can check the pictures by the ticketing booth after. Its 10$ per picture.Tip: If you happen to drop something while riding, you can get it back the next day.

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Canyon, and the incredible experience they provided for our wedding. From our first meeting, we were floored by the professionalism of the staff, and their willingness to go above and beyond to help our vision come to life. Despite the fact that it was not yet wedding season when we first toured the venue, they were able to paint a beautiful picture of what our day would be like. They provided us with countless options and ideas, and we were confident in our booking.Leading up to our wedding, the staff of Canyon were only ever an email away when we had questions or needed to clarify anything. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional, and truly seemed to care about us and our day.Our wedding itself was perfect, and we are so grateful. We weren’t able to get access to our venue the day before, as another wedding was happening. This made me anxious, to be honest, but I had nothing to worry about. Everything was immaculate when we walked in, and our vendors had no problem coordinating with Canyon to ensure everything was done. Both the ceremony space and reception area were set up beautifully, exactly as we had discussed. The staff were wonderful, especially the fun bartenders who entertained our guests all night! The food was incredible - our guests couldn’t say enough good things.If you don’t have a venue booked yet, go check Canyon out! My wedding was last September and everything was fantastic. Robyn and Aaron are very genuine and kind people who do their best to go above and beyond to make your day special and run smoothly.

My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at Canyon Ski Resort. The day was incredible and went off without a hitch. The staff were attentive and approachable, and the food was EXCELLENT (the BEST mashed potatoes I have ever had). The venue was beautiful and rustic. It was beyond anything I had envisioned. Having a summer wedding, we loved having our guests outside during cocktail hour as they enjoyed the wrap around wooden deck. Robyn and Aaron made the planning process easy. They were responsive, flexible, and always professional. They stepped out of their way to accommodate any and all requests to make it the best day for us. My husband and I had the unforgettable day of our lives, and we got so many positive compliments from our guests. Some even said it was the most memorable wedding they'd ever attended. From the bottom of our hearts thank you!!

Taking the Alpine Coaster ride was an awesome experience. We all enjoyed it. The staff was professional and welcoming. When you’re booking take the early morning time so if you like it then you can book it again but rebooking may be available upon availability of the spot, for us we wanted to ride it again but the booking was full for the day.
