Costco Distribution Centre

They are very fast for unloading. check in 9am and out 9:45am.

From the Entrance to Exit amazing job in and out in 45 min with half truck unloading. Costco keep up the good work.

Opens around 4am, give papers at gate, they will give you a machine which will have your dock number, open gates back up to that dock and when light is green go back to gate and they are very fast

Best place to work. Lots of overtime and friendly staff. Students have more room for growth too

Always slow. Always crowded. They've imporoved checking in but getting out is still a mess which affects getting to your dock. Maybe you'll get luck like some but plan to be in dock for over 2hrs. Total time here is an easy 3hrs from driveway to exit.

Charge more if you’re hauling a load into this zoo. Don’t arrive more then an hour ahead of appt time or get turned away. Don’t expect an offload quicker then 3 hours. If they give you a pager for dock assignment make sure they explain to you how it works. Mine went off with a dock number so I went to the dock and it was still occupied. Turns out pager was telling me I’m 2nd in line for that dock. (They have about 400 docks)

Place is an absolute disaster at 6 in the morning with outbound trucks trying to get out just to block trucks from getting in the dock instead of have one way traffic ( providing outbound trucks an exit going away from incoming traffic would make a huge difference) they have double lanes at check in but then trucks from right lane trying to turn left and vice versa with traffic guide trying to keep trucks moving to keep to prevent overflow check in line * ITS COMPLETE CHAOS AND A ZOO* (only thing missing is the actual mooing of cows and spitting of llamas) to say the least traffic guide did a terrific job of adding to the chaos motioning to multiple trucks at a time blocking those who should have priority. Major changes for check in procedures need to be addressed.Only pros of this place for me is unload time is usually within an hour (reefer side)Please address this issue, was talking to other drivers and it was quite apparent that I wasn't the only one there who found it to be unacceptable.

Location easily accessible from the highway. Trucks follow the lanes . Once at the guard shack , employees come out . They will take your paperwork and assign you a door. Employee are really friendly and helpful . For a distribution centre this location is decently quick. Cannot sleep in the truck yard but can sleep outside the property.

Good facility for driver. You’ll get enough space for back up, clean washroom and quick unloading dock.
