Lone Wolf K9

We took our 3 year old rescue Mokie to Lone Wolf this past summer for a 4 week board and train with Guy and his amazing team. We dropped off an anxious, reactive snuggle bug and picked up a calm, secure snuggle bug. With the expertise and guidance of the team at Lone Wolf we no longer dread walking Mokie or being out and about with him, for fear of his reactions, he feels safe and secure with us and we feel comfortable exposing him to new situations. Guy and his team have done such an amazing job training my puppy. I was super nervous being away from her for the first time, but I felt comfortable with the daily updates and knowing that she was being well taken care of. Guy is really passionate and truly cares about dogs and I'm so happy I was able to trust our puppy with him.

My puppy, Naiki and I had a great learning experience at the Lone Wolf K9 facility. We completed the group training sessions, which allowed my puppy to be exposed to different distractions/dogs in a safe environment.The guidance from the team was phenomenal and helped me improve my handling.Being a first time dog owner, the training sessions helped increase my confidence in handling and communicating with my puppy. Naiki has made a lot of progress from frantically running around to learning place, loose leash walking, impulse control and more. Guy and his team offer several techniques and adjust the training approach when Naiki is not responding to a certain method. Training my puppy alone was frustrating, but since training with the Lone Wolf K9 team, training has been a positive experience for both my puppy and I. Highly recommend!

Sending our super energetic 9 months old golden retriever, Toto to Lone Wolf board and training program was the best decision we ever made. Throughout the 4 weeks stay, Guy and his team updated us on the progress of the training with photos, videos, and messages. At the end of the program the team gave us a very informative guide and explained us what we should be doing to continue the training at home. Even after the program if we have any questions or require any further guidance, we were given a 'members support' form to reach out to the team. We saw an immediate improvement in Toto’s behaviour after the program. Thanks to Lone Wolf (Guy, Cierra, and Milica), our Toto is now more obedient and willingly engaging with us. They simply made our lives easier.Lone Wolf has an incredible team who genuinely care about the long-term relationship with the four-legged family member. Highly recommended!

This incredible team of trainers helped us with our 5 month old Working Line German Shepherd puppy. Our puppy stayed at their facility for a 4 week Board and Train program. During his stay we were consistently kept updated on his progress with text messages, photos and videos. We are so happy with all of the training our pup has received! We cannot recommended the trainers at Lone Wolf K9 enough — they are exceptional! They truly care about every single dog that enters their facility.

Guy is an amazing person and trainer. Clear communication, he goes above and beyond for you and your dog. If your dog is dealing with reactivity or you just need help with basic or advanced OB, I would highly recommend him.

So far, I am having a great experience with Guy and his team. This was my first and only training facility and I am so happy for this. I believe the team uses a balanced (i.e use of prong IF and only needed) but mostly positive training method which made my pups and mine experience that much more excitable. The trainers themselves are excellent to work with. They gear their methods based on each dog. I like that I am able to train my dog on the field and they provide further guidance but I still do it myself. They do not take the leash at any point. I purchased a package and their system to schedule sessions is all online (you can cancel if your not feeling well that day etc. and there’s no penalty) which made my life SO much easier. I also appreciated Guy having a FREE consultation to see the dog and provide his feedback beforehand. My only feedback is: at some point I hope they can make an indoor training facility… I don’t come on bad weather days, which now I feel like I’m rushing my sessions as they end in July. Overall, if you are consistent with the training, you’ll have a well trained dog :) EDIT - I am changing my 4 starts to 5 because Guy reached out and made an effort to ensure I can finish my sessions at a reasonable time, thank you!

Our experience with Guy has been nothing short of amazing. In just a few sessions our dog has made progress we never could have imagined. We would highly recommend Lone Wolf K9 to anyone looking for dog training.

I enrolled my dog Bo in the board and train program for 5 weeks. Bo is a labradoodle. He is 3 years old. Bo is a COVID puppy and had multiple issues that needed to be fixed from obedience, impulse control, reactivity to other dogs, loose leash walking & crate training. Bo has anxiety issues and allergies due to which i was very nervous enrolling him.The team worked so well accommodating his issues. He did not have a single allergy flare up throughout his stay.It has been almost a week since Bo is back home. I am so impressed with everything he has learnt. I feel confident taking him outdoors and interacting with other dogs and people. He is a joy to walk now. I just give him the command and he is ready to follow and eagerly awaits the next command. I feel I have control over him whereas before i would have a hard time getting his attention he was all over the place. All it takes now is one command to get into his crate compared to before when I had to wrestle him to get into his crate. Bo is a very happy go lucky dog and i am glad the tools & techniques used by the team did not alter his personality. He is still a love bug.Thank you to Guy and all the trainers who did a tremendous job with him. They understood Bo's personality and coached me and my family into becoming a better dog parent. My family and I are grateful to have him back healthy, happy, calm and obedient.

Have been attending group training sessions with my 7 y/o Alaskan Klee Kai for a few months and I’m finally seeing steady and consistent progress and improvement. Being fear reactive, a group training environment with like minded owners and amazing trainers is exactly what my dog and I needed. Their training style is perfect for fearful/anxious dogs. It is going to take time to eliminate my dogs reactivity completely but I’ve seen incredible progress with Lone Wolf vs other trainers and programs that I’ve tried over the years.
