Stoney Creek Community Food Bank

Had never been to one but accompanied a neighbor. I was really impressed with the quality, freshness and pleasurable experience. The people running it were friendly and couldnt do enough for you. Thank you to all the volunteers who provide such great services to people using this service.

For anyone who is need of help with food or personal products, this food bank tries their best to have it. We belong to a community where we donate throughout the year and it's unfortunate how many people rely on help for food, baby products, personal hygiene. Please find in your heart to support your local food banks as there are so many people who count on our help and are to embarrassed or won't ask for it. This is their only hope. Donate to your food bank today.

The Stoney Creek food bank is volunteer run and closed for the holidays. It will reopen wed Jan 5th 2022. The holiday closure has been posted onsite for months but apparently different information sites were not updated.

I never been there before but I'm I'm giving them 5 stars just because I can.

Good people and help from community

So amazed by the people that put endless hours here helping out folks that are less fortunate than I.......helped them with a food drive.... I'd do it again with these guys in a second....

I live just outside the border of Hamilton and Stoney Creek. I use food banks and I also donate to them. When I visited this one I was turned away because of where I lived. I wasn't happy but I wasn't surprised either. I was annoyed because I heard how good their offerings were. Today I check my mail and find mail form them asking for donations. This is not right and downright dirty pool. How can you ask for donations from a community and then turn down that same community when they need help. Hamilton has bigger needs than Stoney creek will every have and Hamilton doesn't turn away Stoney Creek residents in need. I've never been to a food bank that had food enough to brag about but apparently Stoney Creek Food Bank does, yet they insist on taking from Hamiltonians. I'm not sure about everyone but when I donate to a community food bank, I expect, or at least assume that it includes my community. If you are from Hamilton and want to help Hamilton, please give to organizations that are helping Hamilton. I know SCFB is doing good things by helping their community but please leave our food to help our community.

I was turned away from this foodbank after I had been going there for quite some time but turns out that my address is considered hamilton (literally 50ft from the border"). Being a single father of two I was disgusted and very upset. This was not the only problem that I had with the SCFB
