we came in to get some takeout today, yes brunch was on and it was mildly busy but we waited an hour to get 4 wraps. Watched multiple other tables get served while the staff ignored us, totally unacceptable and left a terrible taste in our mouths. Food was average pub fare, not worth the wait.

It was my first time going it was trivia night. Had a great-tasting gluten-free burger and fries. The waitress Rhonda was wonderful and a delight to talk with, she has a great sense of humor as well. Not only that she makes a great Southern Punch drink you need to try.

I’ve been here a few times now and everything is consistently on point. From the amazing pub fare to the fantastic service. I wish I knew our server’s name (it might be Rhonda) so I could give her a shoutout because is an absolute gem - she is always efficient, attentive and friendly. My only criticism is they no longer have butter chicken on the menu because it was stellar! Pictured here is the Kentucky Fried bacon strips which were ridiculous in a really deliciously good way.

The service in this pub is outstanding. It was a very nice evening at this hidden gem on Hess. Nice selection of dishes. Warm atmosphere watching the hockey game. Was hoping for magic tonight but everything was great except the hockey win. Regardless this place rocks and can’t wait to get in again to try the wings

Great brunch. Corned beef hash was delicious and the serving size was huge. I left so full. Our server was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back again.

I seen recently on Facebook, the King George advertising their food online. They have different specials through the week, can order online and pickup. Apparently I was the 1st online customer ever? I ordered one Friday’s Special Fish & Chips (Haddock) with coleslaw and wedge lemon. Tarter sauce additional charge $1.50. The Fish & Chips go for $11.00 on Fridays + $5.00 for extra piece of fish (*Special*). Had to wait a bit, friendly atmosphere, music/entertainment was being set up when I was picking up. Around 9:00 P.M. Bartender on duty this evening was friendly and very accommodating. Food ready in about 10-15 minutes, buddy at bar was having a burger platter with fries at bar, it looked real good. Took home and enjoyed the meal, split it with my wife, she also enjoyed it. My only draw back it isn’t really accessible if driving, as I have 2 bad knees and walking is an issue. But that’s my problem, I’d still return. Small cozy atmosphere when I was there.

The service, drinks, and food are all the best in Hess. Prices are fair, portions are large, drinks are strong. Servers are very friendly and helpful even when busy. Victoria is the best server in Hamilton.They have daily and weekend specials, and the food is mostly homemade (including the delicious fresh cut fries). The cherry cola cocktail is always good, and there are always good beers on tap besides the usual domestic. Great for a full meal or even a pre or post date spot for a quick cocktail and snack, before a Hess adventure. I'll be back to try the wings!

The server forgot our order and came back to ask what it was. My niece got a glass of sour milk. It was replaced but she didn't want it then. There was no fork for me but I did get one. Some food slid off the plate as the server placed in front of my niece. Good thing she wiped the table after we sat though there were only 2 customers. She talked with the men at the bar not ignored us. We ordered no dessert, tea or coffee. We felt enough was enough - no tip for bad service!

Ordered for delivery. We will have to try dining in. I see it’s a new restaurant of the URG group of restaurants. Great food. I hesitate to order fish and chips by delivery as they don’t travel well. The fish did not disappoint. I got Buffalo cauliflower, Cobb salad with chicken, fish and chips and roast beef yorki. Some great selections of pub fare.
