The Carlton Apartments

Stayed here for a year. Lost a lot of money moving out.During the move in, the building manager said that regular wear and tear of the house is fine.While moving out, he demanded the house be given back to him in the same condition that he had given to me! Lost money paying the cleaning charges.Building manager incorrectly told me that the date of vacating the house was July 31st (it was actually August 31st). On my part, I did not check the dates and finalized a new place to move in. After this, he informed me that the move out date was Aug 31st. Lost my deposit as a result.House and apartment is modern and well maintained. Houses facing the parking lot are really noisy. Summers are not good. If you keep the windows closed, it is too hot. It you leave them open, it is too noisy.

I lived at the downtown, Carlton Apartment. The building is clean, quiet and peaceful. I highly recommended for those who are looking for an apartment, students, young professionals, suitable for small family and for seniors. The building is close to many ammenities.

I have newly moved in here around June last year. It’s the best living experience I’ve ever had in Canada! It’s located in downtown, convenient surroundings. The building manager Ana Rose is very nice and willing to help, she decorated the building for every holiday and festivals, it makes me feel like this is a real home! 5 star for sure!

After a year of living here, I can still say I am happy with my decision to choose The Carlton Apts. The landlord's concern for the tenants is tangible. The building manager is kind, approacheable and is particular about imposing discipline so we can be comfortable and safe. Big plus, we are conveniently located in the heart of downtown, close to gov't offices, public transpos and shops.

I had lived here for 3 years and was lucky enough to have Paul and Ana as my building managers. Both made my experience here worth it. I will miss the downtown life.

Very wonderful place! Very clean, and the landlord really do care about the tenants!The units can be small for some, but they are very bright and newly renovated when I moved in about a year ago.They have the smartcards for your laundry and you can fill it up inside the apartment. You don't need to go to a gas station to fill up the card, which is awesome.Neighbors are quiet 99% of the time. I know we all have that 1% where we get a little rowdy. Even if they are rowdy usually it quiets down by 11pm on those weekends. Which I really don't mind, it's the weekend for a reason.They have a wonderful workout room!Other than that, definitely the best place I've ever lived in. The company really wants you to feel at home and that's exactly how I feel.

I moved out of this building a couple of years ago, the only reason I moved was due to the construction of the building across the street at the time. I lived here for 3 years and I loved it. The best part about living at the Carlton was by far the landlord, Paul. He goes above and beyond for his residents and I couldn't have asked for better, more trustworthy landlord. I should also add that the overall feel to the building was great. I had wonderful neighbours and being a single girl living by herself, I felt safe here.

I've lived here for 2.5 years, the reason that I moved out is because I may have to go to another city. Here is a great place with great professional and friendly manager Paul! He is responsive and really listen to all your questions and requests! He does everything efficiently and provide you wonderful living experience (I will say he is the best building manager I have ever met !!!!!)The maintanance is also fast and mantainance people are also friendly. The location of the building is perfect because reaching LRT only takes a 8 mins walk (and there is also a walkable park nearby). You will also have internet discount, so I would say it's one of the best apartment you can find in edmonton.Move out charge is fair. If you did the cleaning with patience or find a professional cleaning company, there should be no charge at all! The manager will not overcharge you and I am sure about that :)

I just moved here for about a month. Ana (the building manager) is very kind and caring. The building is well-maintained and quiet. I feel really comfortable living here so far.

Lived here for 2.5 years. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and amenities offered. Paul is a fantastic building manager and was attentive when enquiries were made. Everything in my suite worked perfectly upon moving in, and no maintenance was required during my stay. I only relocated for a change of scenery - otherwise I would have stayed longer. Would recommend!
