Fort Steele Resort & RV Park

A five minute walk from Fot Steele made the location of this RV park perfect. Our spot was shaded and level. The campground was quiet. The restrooms were clean. Laundry facilities were available. The store was well stocked, and I enjoyed browsing the antiques.

management is disrespectful and treat others like trash. The lady that runs it thinks she is a God and everyone else is her faithful servants. I hope either management changes or they close.

Only a five minute walk to historic Fort Steele, made this campground a perfect overnight spot. The store is well stocked, and gas station prices were the best in the area. Our site was almost level, the only drawback being in the trees, but they would be a blessing in warmer weather! Restrooms were clean, as were the laundry facilities. Bonus was the emu in the field. Great location to local river and nearby lakes.

We just spent the night there and had an amazing experience, we were there with her kids to attend an event at Fort Steele across the road, and we are just from city 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay there again for a little family getaway. I had booked a non-service site because everything was out, and when I arrived I was offered a full service if she could make it work she was amazing. Also the pool is fantastic, Us and another family paid an extra day just to stay and play in the pool all day it is definitely worth it!

Worst customer service of any place I have ever stayed in my life. First when I rented the cabin here for a month the lady yelled at me and said I couldn't use any other space heater in the cabin other then the 2 they have in there that hardly work so i froze to sleep every night. Secondly there is no running water or washroom in the cabin how they can justify charging 1000$ a month is a question to me. And finally as I'm about to check out the lady who runs the place refuses to give me my $950 cash DD back because she says she has 15 days to do so. She was so lazy she would rather fight with a customer over the phone and hang up on me instead of coming in like a normal person who operates a business to do a walk around the cabin with me to give me me DD back. Absolutely the worst place I have ever dealt with in my life.

Lots of shade in this campground. Laundry and bathrooms were clean. Interesting camp store with all the stuff you forgot and many things you wouldn't expect! A fair bit of noise next to the highway and attached to a busy gas station but the location is close to everything. 4 stars

Lots of sites for all sorts of campers. Plenty of pull throughs. Great views of the Rocky Mountains, deers, birds, emus.

Expect to pay an extra $5 for a one night stay! Yes you get penalized for only staying for one night at their campground. This place used to be a very nice place to stay but the price keeps going up and up for what? Not impressed anymore. We used to stay there every year for two or three nights, never again.
