Baccalieu Trail Animal Hospital

We brought our Furbaby in for an Urgent Bladder Blockage. Dr. Ruffino diagnosed him quickly to get our poor cat on the road to recovery as fast as possible. She and her support staff dealt with us with kindness and we are very happy we brought him here. We had already taken him to Emergency Care elsewhere two days earlier and They didn't catch the issue.

My animals have been patients at the Baccalieu Trail Animal Hospital for as long as I can remember. I have never went there and had a bad experience. The reception desk is always ready to help and get appointments underway with friendliness and courtesy. The amount of respect and kindness the veterinarians show is very heartwarming and I always feel comfortable and welcome with my animals. Even during the time of euthanization of my animal I would not want to be anywhere else but in the kind, caring, and capable hands of these doctors. I will continue to keep my animals under the care of this hospital as it is certainly all they will ever need.

They ate the most caring bunch , very accommodating, they will always make you pet feel like there's, Dr sarah is so sweet, I know my Chloe is in great hands when I'm there.

Dr Ruffino, both Dr. John and Dr. Sara have been treating my boys for the past 8 years. I have two yorkies under 4lbs each. The boys are beyond spoiled, I don’t trust them with many however I do trust both of these doctors and their staff. The compassion and empathy that they express is truly unbelievable. Yesterday Max had a dental cleaning and extractions. The surgery was a huge success. Max’s teeth are pearly white, he’s a happy boy, and I’m over the moon delighted that all went well. My other little boy, Harley is there monthly for an injection, all of the staff are best. I know when the boys leave me they are cared for and watched. That’s all I can ask for. Just take care of my little boys and they do!!! ❤️ I cannot thank you all enough!!!

Our Yorkie, Bowser, became suddenly very ill... Screaming in pain, wouldn't walk and barely eating. We only recently moved to Newfoundland and didn't have a vet yet, so decided to give Baccalieu trail a go on my parents recommendation and I'm so glad we did. They're amazing... Gave us all the options without judgment, reassured us and set up a plan. He's been on the medication less than a week and already he's his old self!! I'm so thankful.

They are very good with your pet, and very friendly with the owners.very caring . I added a pic of my cat I had done a year ago. Also a pic of my son's cat that is getting done in March, I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Thanks to all the staff for the work they do.

This is the ONLY vet I have dealt with in 3 provinces and different vets that would not sell me the required food for my cat. Sad that they don't care about the health of animals enough to even sell a bag of cat food. I was surprised to see the high rating here as the people I have talked to have not had positive things to say about them. Makes me wonder about all the 5 star ratings. I have only had the one personal experience with them and they refused to sell me food for my cat. Also note that they are not open in the weekends unfortunately.

I was very satisfied with the staff, and found them very friendly and helpful. George really enjoyed his visit,and will be visiting again.

I had my kitten in to the Baccalieu Animal Hospital for a check-up before having her spayed. What a beautiful facility with such caring and attentive staff. Angel was scared and the lady that took care of us treated her like she was her own. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who needs Veterinary services. Their rates are very reasonable as well. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
