Mensen truly is a master at his profession. I brought in beautiful mens Italian cashmere (Loro Piana) and silk (Saks) blazers that required thoughtful and expert alteration. He took his time in the fitting and the end result ... he did not disappoint, he did a marvelous job! he shortened sleeves, shortened length and even tapered the arms on the cashmere LP blazer.I also brought in a very heavy wool (vintage Prada) pair of mens trousers that he was able to redo to a more body friendly, modern fit, without depleting the existing fabric...takes a magician for that!Give him time and put your trust in him, you can rest assure that your treasures are save in his very expert hands. Very skilled and professional tailoring! I got my Burberry trench coat tailored by Mensan and he did an amazing job on tapering and shortening my sleeves. I like how his craftsmanship makes it seem like the coat has not been altered and came straight from the manufacture. Mensan is the only tailor I trust to do any alterations to my luxury brand clothing.

He's incredibly precise with his tailoring. He can do alterations or make you custom outfits. I live in Toronto and I never miss a chance to go to him when I need tailoring. Highly recommend!

Mensan is incredible! I brought a bridesmaid dress for hemming and alterations. The alterations were amazing and fit me perfectly but there was an issue with a stitch at the bottom of the dress that wasn't visible from the hanger, only when it was on. After I brought it back, Mensan was incredibly understanding and offered to fix it. Cue the massive derecho storm over the weekend, Mensan still managed to get me the dress on time despite the power outage at both the store and his house. Needless to say, the repairs were impeccable and I was very happy with the end result. Highly recommend!

This business does good work, but there have been several times now that I’ve gone to drop off items during the stated business hours that the owner has been late opening, or away in the middle of the day. Today I waited from 10:50 to 11:25am (sign was posted saying he would be back my 11:15). Very sad to say that I will have to find someone else to hem my pants. Recommend calling before making the trip to ensure someone is there.
